Wow, this place is just as good as Hama Hama! We got a little bit of everything. The grilled oysters are HUGE, whereas the chicken curry portions are small. Service wasn’t the best, wasn’t the worst. However, the food is INCREDIBLE! Restaurant is big with plenty of seating for large groups. Their kitchen opens at noon, but you can get chowder and raw/grilled clams before it opens!

Everything was excellent! I considered puking in the parking lot so I could come back and eat more!! We ordered most of the menu. The grilled oysters were great. I was surprised that they steam them before grilling them. They had gooey duck ceviche, steamed clams, Curry(we chose prawns) 10 out of 10. Great service! Really great atmosphere outside with the creek flowing and the fresh breeze. Magical. I would drive the two hours and fourteen minutes from my home just to come back and eat here. I learned how to spell “Gooeyduck” too!

Phenomenal service. Fast, conscientious, and made for an excellent experience. Atmosphere was incredible 😲 try sitting outside, topped off with excellent food. Highly recommend Clam Chowder or Smoked Salmon Fettucine.

A beautiful day in Mason County with an amazing lunch on a beautiful patio. BEST and freshest oysters (raw with an amazing ginger sauce or grilled) that you'll ever have. Staff is young but amazingly attentive and friendly. This is a must do in Hoodsport!

Best clam chowder I've ever had! Xinh's egg rolls are legit! Its a little loud but I will go back.
Just stopped in to have a few oysters and this place made you feel like family. Talked with Mike for a while, met the owner John. Don't miss this place if you're coming through. On top of all that the oysters are incredible!
Wrap up great food, people and the canal vibe. The fusian of oysters and tastes of Asian is fantastic.

I ended up visiting Fjord Oyster Bank twice in the same day, and honestly, I’d do it again without hesitation.
The first stop was all about the fried oysters. I went in fully intending to sample a bunch of things, but after just half a dozen, I was completely full. They were that rich, fresh, and satisfying. I actually had to step away and walk it off just to make room for round two.
Four hours later… I was back.
This time, I came prepared to dive into the clam chowder and fresh oysters, and everything absolutely lived up to the hype. The chowder was creamy and comforting without being too heavy, and the oysters tasted like they came straight out of the canal—clean, briny, and incredibly fresh. Pair that with some local beer, which was crisp and super enjoyable, and it made for the perfect Hood Canal meal.
They also have an ice cream parlor, which feels like a bonus you didn’t know you needed. I tried the pistachio ice cream, and it was genuinely delicious, smooth, flavorful, and the perfect sweet finish after all that seafood.
On top of the food, John and the rest of the team were attentive, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. The vibe of the place really captures the spirit of Hood Canal at its best, laid-back, scenic, and full of character.
If you’re anywhere near Hoodsport, this spot is absolutely worth a visit… or two in one day.

After a long day of hiking or exploring the beach, this is the perfect place for a great dinner. The cooked oysters were fantastic and I really enjoyed the homemade clam chowder. My wife had a wonderful chicken salad and it tasted so good!
Great environment, with very friendly and attentive staff with a wonderful location to fill our bellies before a long drive back to home.

Stumbled on this restaurant while looking to try Geoduck for the first time and I was BEYOND impressed!! The oysters, raw and grilled were phenomenal, and the geoduck wantons were incredible! The staff were extremely pleasant and made me feel very welcomed. I will absolutely be coming back! 💯
