This is a must stop! This is a wonderful handcrafted distillery and I’m throughly impressed. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly, you can sample the drinks before you buy, and you can also get recipe cards. Although I went with the gin and Little Owl, the Aquavit was tasty and I enjoyed trying something new! The bottles would make wonderful additions to your home bar or make a good holiday gift.
Loved exploring their shop, they did tastings and were very knowledgeable.
My daughter and I were staying on Lake Cushman for the weekend. In researching things to do and see we came across The Hardware Distillery and a spirit they make called Aquavit. We had never had this Scandinavian treat... Chuck was amazing and we tasted through their line up. He had an already made cocktail called Norski, made with the Cardamom Aquavit and Lingonberry syrup. Now our family favorite summer cocktail. Thank you for the amazing tasting and great education.
