“Recently had the pleasure of having the Jitter House cater a Celebration of Life reception at the Log Pavilion. The food was phenomenal and all the guests raved. The pricing was fair, follow-through was great and they had great communication with us in the planning. I would highly recommend their catering services.Parking: You can always find a place to park, not far away.“
“a lovely little coffee shop that is reminiscent of some of the shops over in seattle! minus the electroswing.their baked goods are all tasty, their italian sodas are delightful, their coffee is boss, and their smoothies are awesome!i have only met 2 of their staff but they seemed like lovely folks as well! i am shy so i have not introduced myself but the gentleman that served my husband and i was very nice and attentive.it's also a safe space for queer folk so it's one of the few spots in the area my husband and i felt comfortable holding hands and being close in the immediate area. <3ttly recommend!Dietary restrictions: they offer alternatives to dairy, and iirc they do have vegan and veg options~“
“We came here for dinner on our last night in Westport. The menu here is upscale from the restaurants in Westport and is only a 15-min drive. We were at the restaurant on a chilly, foggy day but the gardens looked inviting nevertheless with the many walkways and variety of plants.I had the Grilled Halibut and my friend had the Cedar-Plank Salmon. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was also very attentive and helpful. We topped this excellent meal off with Raspberry Cream Pie and Carrot Cake.“
“Great bread, great prices. Hours are incorrect, see picture.Edit: changed rating to reflect that staff was actually really rude when the incorrect hours were mentioned. Evidently people tell them this all the time, but they don’t update the hours on Google. The gal working said “oh there’s a million places to check hours, you just need to go to our website.” This seems weird to me because other businesses don’t have a problem keeping the hours accurate on Google. I guess you can afford to be this way when you have the best prices on decent bread…“
“Oh... my... donuts is right! We were just in town for the weekend and were jonesing for some fresh bakery donuts. We got a nice mix of their small and large donuts that were super delicious. My family really enjoyed how fresh and flavorful the donuts were. My bacon maple bar was awesome and went great with my morning coffee. I highly recommend it and the bear claws. Very affordable prices and helpful staff made this quick donut trip way worth it! Will definitely stop here again next time we're in town!“
“Boulevard Bakery is now officially open! It's located in the historic Vasa Hall building directly across from the Farmer's Market. Tip: Be in the right hand lane before you approach the Riverside curve because if you miss that turn, you'll be crossing the Hoquiam River twice to circle back and get another chance at fresh breads ;-) The moment you walk into the building, you'll be greeted by that glorious aroma of fresh baked breads! Is there really anything better? I was fortunate enough to be one of the first customers through the door on opening day as a long line quickly formed behind me. The owner had somehow managed to get a few items in the display case, just hours after passing her final inspection. I purchased a couple bread rolls...I wanted to buy more but that line of customers would not have been happy if I had emptied the case! The rolls were still warm from the oven and had wonderful flour dusted crusts. As I walked to my car, I spotted another customer devouring a roll in her car...she had a big smile on her face and declared something to the effect of how delicious it was! Now, if you live in area where bakeries are abundant, you might not understand the magic of a lone bakery in an area as large and remote as the Harbor. From what I understand, opening this business has been a very long journey for the owner. I can only imagine the hurdles that she has had to overcome to get to opening day. She should be commended for her tenacity in bringing fresh baked breads to the Harbor! By the way...the rolls were perfect. Just the right amount of crispy golden brown crust giving way to a delicious interior. Not too dense, not too airy... just the right amount of give and texture!“
