“To be honest I haven't ever been in that building since it was The Sunset Pub. Yet I have been in there when it first opened up as a game room back in 1980- 1981 named Galaxy II. Frequented it everyday when it was Sunset Pub, I'm sure it can hold its own as the Pickled Onion. As long as they have pickled beans to go into their Bloody Mary's.“

“Had my class reunion here. Was a fun time, and the team here cleaned up after us (even though we should've), which was very considerate.

I stayed a little later and was even allowed to use one of my drink tickets over 2 hours after the reunion ended. Nick was cool and made me a green tea shot and one for himself. Was the first shot I ever had, and it was really amazing. Definitely loved the peach schnapps. And when one of my other classmates asked to buy us a shot, Nick gave each of us another.

Admittedly, those shots kinda hit me like a freight train within a few minutes, and I got extremely sleepy. A very nice team member named Siouni made sure I didn't fall asleep and assured me they could get me an Uber or a Lyft if I needed. But I decided to just stay put and sober up, and Nick was kind enough to get me some ice water.

Was really impressed with the concern and care I received while I stayed.

Looking forward to coming back, and hopefully on a Karaoke night.“

“The food here is okay, I don’t have any complaints. I am mostly just blown away by a particular server named Tina. My family and I have been served by her before. But even when we weren’t her table, she would still come by clear things off our table help us with silverware or drinks or whatever was needed, VOLUNTARILY! It felt like more of a fine dining experience than Applebee’s. Thank you, Tina!“

“Hinder, a waitress of your went above and beyond to satisfy her customers. Especially us, you need to give her a raise, very welcoming and warm young lady. Food was fantastic, my only complaint is that you dont serve coca cola products, especially when they're less than a half mile from you. Thank you!“

Good selection on tap, different sports across different screens for side entertainment, jukebox, pool tables, good food (as good as it gets for bars please dont expect a secret Michelin star) and they host karaoke. There's an area in the back I've yet to see but I'm sure it matches the excellence of the rest of the establishment. Most importantly, the staff is amazing and the locals match.“

“We arrived around 5pm on a Friday night. Wasn't busy at all and I asked the server why it was so quiet. We were told that it'll start picking up later and by 5:30pm there was quite the crowd and the noise level was approaching bar/tavern levels. Not annoying, but since this place is kid friendly, if you want a family outing, go early. Otherwise, any kids with sensory sensitivity are going to be uncomfortable or you'll just not be able to have casual conversation. If you're out with your friends after work, then this place is perfect for you and your crew.

They have their own beers but also have beers from other local. We got a flight of 6 beers and really liked about half of them and the other half were just okay. Definitely worth trying a flight to see what suits your tastes before ordering a pint.

The loaded tots are fantastic. Great presentation. With the bacon and green onion, it combines to make a great flavor. I highly recommend this app before jumping into an entree.

The shepherds pie is a standard shepherds pie on a crust. Not bad, but don't expect anything unique.

The burgandy beef pie is good but a little bland for the filling. My suggestion would be to add Worcestershire sauce and garlic to the filling to bring out the flavor. The crust was good and had a buttery flavoring in it.

Outdoor patio is nice but small. If you want to bring Fido, then you're welcome to but out on the patio. Kid/Family friendly but I recommend going before 5pm or the noise levels get a little high. ADA friendly as there is plenty of space between tables for those with a walker or in wheelchairs.

Overall, we love this place and will definitely go back. The service is extremely friendly and that alone is a great selling point for me.“
