This last time took them 1 hour and 24 minutes to bring food and we had to ask to finally get them to care. They were out of lemonade and gave us soda water with strawberry juice, the food was cold and server didn't know which plate was which. They offered to get the manager, we didn't ask, but manager never showed after 15 minutes we left. I usually love eating here but this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had dining out in my life. Would have been better eating an MRE at least the food would have been warm.

We’ve been here several times… and every time it’s been a horrible experience. Today, we waited over 1.5 hours at our table with no food, or drink refills. (Didn’t even get bread rolls, even when asking). I keep thinking it’s a one-time-thing… but now that this has been our experience for 4 trips here… we are pretty over it and won’t be coming anymore

Someone should at least mention that only Base personnel or , possibly veterans, can get on Base to enjoy a good steak. Civilians are turned away. 😫

if you get colby good luck. seems sweet but definitely felt like he had something against us. Came w my husband after duty and my dining experience was not good at all I couldn’t believe it.

This is Steakhouse, so they should know the difference in the temperatures you order your steaks (rare to well done)..
Ordered 2 steak dinners with medium on both steaks. A baked potatoe for one and fries for the other. They brought the dinners out minus the fries, stating the fries were not cooked yet. The steak without the fries was rare, not medium. The baked potatoe was cold. The rare steak and cold potatoe were sent back. A new baked potatoe (still cold) and a few fries came out, but no steak. I finished my meal with the cold baked potatoe (not eaten) and then the same steak came back out, not medium, but medium rare !
I spoke to the mgr/Austin who said she'd comp half of one meal because although the steak wasn't cooked to order, everything else was edible. I explained that the baked potatoe wasn't corrected and thus wasn't eaten and the steak would have to be cooked a third time for it to be satisfactory. She said that was the best she could do. Be warned !!

This is inside of a military base. You cannot go there without a government badge.

We had a group of 13. We were ALL disappointed with our visit to this TX Road House.

They were slow getting food, appetites and the place wasn't very busy. Food came out cold some of our guests had to return their food to be reheated . We wasted a lot time,and money. The only good thing was we had nice waitress. Never again will I go back or recommend the JBLM restaurant to anyone Disappointed

Prepare to wait for a significant amount of time unless you’re going to the bar. There is no indoor seating at all for the waiting area and my grandmother was very uncomfortable. They have heat lamps for when it’s cool outside but I suggest some type of shades to cover the area when it’s warm. The sun sets hitting directly on the outside waiting area. The staff was really kind and our food didn’t take long to come at all. My grandmothers steak was cooked just slightly above her request but she ate most of it. The blooming onion was so good! Better than that other place I won’t mention. My mom’s catfish was seasoned and hot. She was so pleased. And I love the critters and house salad. All together, this wasn’t a horrible experience. Just see some things that can be improved. I’d definitely come back. I mean, who can resist those rolls?!

Usually a great experience. Music gets a little loud around dinner.

Staff made the experience all the better.

The steaks were ok; ribs were toasted to crisp and needed to be exchanged.

The family always live the vibes and of course the rolls.

Seemed like server forgot about our order. Near 45 minutes when we asked about our order. Server went to check and came back saying it just came out and delivered. But, everything was cold. The manager did comp the food. We paid for our drinks and left.
