I went in for my lunch break. I ordered the Road Kill, which was supposed to be a cut steak with sautéed onions and mushrooms. Instead, I received a burger patty. The employee attending me did try to correct it, but unfortunately, I was there for my lunch break. The patty wasn't bad.

I'm really disappointed in our last order. I'm pregnant, so I requested a filet medium-well and it turned out to be the blackest, driest steak of my life.

For the most part, it was really good. The downfall. Our steaks were overcooked. We asked for a medium rare, and the initial steak was medium well. The second was more medium. But we decided to keep it after that instead.

There were six of us at a booth. It was ok but we should have gotten a table. Not sure there was one. We had a variety of food. It was all good although the fries weren't hot. It was enjoyable.

Bad experience going here because me and my family went and got there at 6:52. Took them an hour for them to find seating and we got sat around 8 o’clock And around 8:10 we ordered our food. AND me and my family ordered three steaks and some loaded potatoes and some salmon. MIND YOY THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIMEEEE!!, I wanted my loaded potato but instead, all we got was the bread, Onion rings and a salad and it took them an hour and a half for them to bring our food and by that time it was already nine, so our waitress decided to say she was gonna bring the manager, but my mom was like no we’re already leaving because we’re not gonna come here again.

How do you screw up a steak at a steakhouse?! The chef does not know how to cook a steak medium rare. I sent it back and got another one even worse. I waited over an hour for the first piece of jerky to get handed another piece of jerky 30 minutes later.

To the chef, you should be ashamed and should never refer to yourself as a chef and you 100% need to learn how to cook a damn steak! I blind person could cook a steak better than you.

If y’all need someone to teach that poor excuse for chef how to cook a steak let me know. I have no problem running circles around him. Horrible horrible horrible

I’d recommend the salad to people, because I know damn well your chef won’t touch that.

Ordered 2 dozen rolls at the to go counter. Noticed the group that walked in with me were wrapping up eating as I was leaving 40 minutes later. Watched the bread counter continually be refilled, and at times, baskets waiting to be picked up for 5-10 mins. No shortage of rolls, just a shortage of customer service at the to go counter.

Haven’t been to TR for a fat minute figured I’d give this location a chance after waiting for an hour and 20 minutes. We already wasted the gas and the aroma outside was intense and convincing . For starters, they don’t have prime rib (my go to for TR). We weren’t given utensils or plates until after we had our rolls and sides. Never received our appetizer even after our entree came out, even though we ordered that along with our entree. Fortunately, our waiter had no issue taking that off the bill. Just don’t waste your money. It was mediocre, and not worth the calories.

This was my last meal before a deployment and first time my daughter had eaten at a Texas Roadhouse. I was really disappointed. Food took forever which I don't mind if it's good. However, my steak was bland. Steamed Vegetables were raw. Had to ask for someone to clean off the table. Very disappointing. I've had Texas Roadhouse in other states and it's usually pretty good. This is the first one that has really let me down. Not a good lasting memory.

THIS RESTAURANT IS ON A MILITARY BASE. We drove from PORTLAND all the way here because wifey was craving some Texas RH. We just got turned around by the rude guards and didn't explain anything. Then we looked at reviews and realized you can't go in unless military access.
Absolutely unacceptable, it did not say anything ANYWHERE about the public not having access. We are completely disappointed and I see we're not the only ones. This should NOT be listed as a PUBLIC place on Google Maps if you can't get in.
Heartbroken.

I got the porterhouse t-bone steak and ordered it barely medium rare. The steak was not pink and not seared well so it wasn't cooked hot enough and cooked to long, It was barely seasoned, and worse yet, the steak was tough and not juicy at all. The salad was a nice surprise with the sliced egg on top and the loaded baked potato was pretty good. Overall, I might come back again but I was not impressed at all. Especially after this place had been talked up by friends for years so I traveled from Bremerton down to JBLM to try it out.

Jasmine over at the bar was wonderful and she deserves a raise.

Is Texas Roadhouse trying to be a sports bar or a roadhouse?
