Absolutely fantastic! Worth the drive. Fresh, fast, friendly and a plethora of menu items to chose from. Would recommend over and over.
The food was good, but in the women’s restroom, as I was drying my hands after washing, an employee comes out of the stall and looks directly at me and leaves. Doesn’t wash her hands. Gross in general.
I go back to my party and notice that the same employee was the one setting up and prepping the tables. I don’t really want unwashed-after-using-the-bathroom hands touching my napkins, soy sauce, plates and table.

We went to visit Sumo Japanese restaurant for the first time after church service. The food and the service were great. I highly recommend this restaurant and the robots service was a great touch.

Based on the reviews, Sumo Sushi • Grill • Ramen AYCE offers a positive dining experience with great service and delicious food. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the customer service is fantastic. It is a buffet with lots of sushi. Customers order up to 15 items with their phone, and food is delivered by a robot or a person. There is also a walk-up buffet with items like BBQ Chinese pork, spare ribs, rice noodles, soup, a salad bar, and a dessert bar. The menu has two options: a black menu and a higher price gold menu. The food is always fresh, and the authentic menu has new items monthly. There is unlimited Thai tea. The restaurant is very spacious. For sushi, raw fish other than salmon is not recommended, but the unagi was ok. The buffet is better than typical Chinese buffet slop, and the grilled items are all pretty good. The ramen even has a proper soft boiled egg. The variety of food is awesome, and the kimchi in the buffet is tasty. This is a great place when you do not feel social.
