Friendly staff, beware the BRISKET they sell is NOT BBQ or SMOKED. Or if if it is it is not done so in the way one might expect; tough, flavorless and pale in color... almost like it was boiled. I have not tried the other items but I hear the other items are great. I just feel a little disappointed and wish they made BBQ meats.

Haven't been able to get inside. The hours say 11am but it's never open till later. Aimless hours today I called at 1125am and was told it will be open in an hour or so.. They need to change the hours to we open whenever we want.

Great meal we had the chicken breast with pasta. The chicken is cooked to perfection moist and tasty the pasta is great too.We can't wait for the weekend to have the ribs . Great service great portions. Respect.

The Butcher Shop Cafe just went through a change of ownership, and they're going through a bit of a transition right now, but all the same: If you're in the mood for a meat-heavy meal, stop by here!The owner gave us an *incredibly* generous sampler taste of the brisket, venison, ribs and chicken. I'd come in with an urge for beef, but we were so blown away by the quality of the chicken (soft, moist, perfectly flavorful) we had to order both it and the ribs (which were amazing).I'm looking forward to coming back once they've finished their transition and figured out their new menu (the only side available today was mac & cheese, which is not to my taste), and I might come back sooner just to get some of their frozen meats.Regardless, give 'em a try!

Love this place! They have all sorts of meat and cuts, plus eggs, dates, and hot meals. The place clean and organized. And on top of every thing their price is very reasonable. It's a gem in this neighborhood. Please come check it out and support our local small businesses.

I’ve been driving past this shop for years and today I finally gave it a try. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long. The meat selection was very good even this close to the holidays. The prices were excellent. But what made me such a fan – I’m going back very soon – was the guy behind the counter. One of the nicest customer service experiences I have had in a very long time – the kind that will brighten your entire week. Don’t wait to check it out like I did.

I bought Frozen Alaska Salmon there after I moved into the neighborhood Oct 18, 2020. I looked to defrost tonight and and saw expiration date of Sept 2019. The package has their writing on it. Why would I go back? My bad for not checking, but over a YEAR expired and selling it? Trust is done

First, it was the smell of well smoked meat that got me from a distance, then it was the excellent and friendly CS from the fellow behind the counter. Stopped in on a whim to get some BBQ, best impulse ever. The brisket was fork tender and the smoke accented the meat instead of overpowering it. the selection in the freezers was as impressive as the prices. (Mid west prices in Kenmore?!? Oh, yes. Then hooked us up with some bold saffron rice, just to be nice.I know where I'm getting my meat from now on.
