Was there for date night with my wife. I had the chicken burrito, my wife had the shrimp cup or bowl. Burrito was great, but the shrimp was cold when we ordered it warm. Everything else was good. Saw a bunch of old friends there, so it was a good experience over all.

The service was terrible. The only time we were spoken to was to order. The My young daughters and I waited 35+ minutes to order which wouldn’t be a big deal but others came in 20-30 minutes after us and ordered within five minutes of being seated. If it weren’t for the fact we had ate chips and salsa, we would have walked out. The food was bland. The salsa tasted like ketchup mixed with picante sauce. I asked to order a la carte and explained we did not want sides. She told us the price individually which was fine. We were still brought rice and beans and it was plated as separate meals and we were charged that way. We definitely won’t be coming back and we will never cheat on Fiesta again lol

We use to go in quite frequently but tonight. I took my wife in for her birthday this is the first that we were disappointed. I feel that the meal that I got Carne asada y MOJO was not Worth 30 dollars for the amount of food that I got. My wife got a shrip dish and asked that she not have the veggies that come with it and that was correct, but she said that that bacon didn't taste right. I asked for coffee and had finished almost finished it and my server did not notice that it, the I finished it and she went buy the table several times and fevered asked if I wanted more, had to ask for more and then it felt like it took to long to get. I'm sorry to say but this is probably our last time coming in. There are so many Mexican restaurants not to take a chance on one that had this many faults.

Been going to Azteca for years now, even when it was at the Columbia Center Mall. Love that they've simplified the menu but still retained a lot of old favorites. As usual, the service was super friendly and attentive. The food was hot and delicious. We ordered camarones al mojo de ajo and enchiladas. The drinks were fantastic and complimented the meal wonderfully. Very much recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the classic mexican restaurant faire when you're craving some grubbing comfort food. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped by for lunch with coworkers. Place was very busy, seemed clean in the dinning area. Waitress recommended we go over the seafood fresh sheet. Coworker orders shrimp empanadas. I ordered chicken tacos al carbon, asked if I'd like to make any substitutes I asked for rancho beans & side salad. Was told I had to pay extra even tho it was named as a substitute option. After waiting a few mins waitress came back and told us they were unable to make the empanadas and we only had 20mins left on our lunch. As we had ordered long before that. When my meal came the beans were cold and the "side salad" was a very small potion. I will say my coworkers ordered drinks and they were Strong. Maybe next time we will just come in for drinks and not food.

Was excited to visit azteca on canal as I haven't been out since the pandemic and love Mexican food. Myself and girlfriend were seated having a beer having a nice time our waiter was great we were all laughing enjoying ourselves we proceeded to order our food when it all went down hill. A very young lady with a big attitude walked up to table asked how we were doing and who we were or mostly who was i. It very odd I answered please identify yourself as you are interrupting our meal she refused and again asked who I was when I told her it was none of her business she was very confrontational and I still had no clue who it was. Finally she asked do you want me to leave the table and I said yes please get away from us I don't know who you are. Then some random guy from the next booth started yelling at me to leave of I didn't like the service. I couldnt believe ItI thought maybe this was candid camera. He continued to tell me that that was the owner who accosted us which I knew that wasn't true. I was absolutely stunned I'm 52 girlfriend 50 we are white and I will not play the race card like is always done if it were the other way around but it didn't seem like they wanted us there so I addressed the fine young man in the corner booth and paid for 2 beers at the front desk while paying I started talking to our waiter to the side and I asked who this young lady was and what happened he shook his head said he had no idea what happened and the girl was a hostess. I politely explained to her that she was unprofessional and there was no reason for her irrational behavior. The waiter apologized to me and even tried to give me my food to go as it had just come out I declined and apologized as well as he was probably going to get at least 15- 20 tip. So think twice azteca before hiring immature junior high schoolers to start harassing adults for no reason thank you.
