Let me start by saying I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience at Porter’s Real Barbecue was so exceptional I felt like I had to share it. From the second we walked in, the hospitality was unmatched. Lexi greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable and informed. She took the time to explain how everything worked, walked us through the menu, and gave us some great recommendations especially helpful since it was our first time there....

I've never been to a BBQ place before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Was staying at a nearby hotel and this was close by for dinner. I'm not a big red meat fan so I got the 1/3# of turkey. It was amazing - more moist than the average Thanksgiving Turkey which was a pleasant surprise.
My friend got sausage and burnt ends and said they were very good. The mac & cheese was good as well. When I first got my tray I thought there was no way I was going...

Friendliest staff in town! Always so welcoming and helpful. Isaiah and Lexi helped me this morning making sure everything for my teams lunch was just right. Best barbecue in the state, and the poppers are a must 👌
