Went on Tuesday at 4pm. Tuesday's special is brisket burn ends. Sold out! Must have been a very busy lunch.

Ordered brisket (marbled), pulled pork and baked potato.

Brisket was excellent, definitely the highlight.

Pulled pork was average, pleasant but nothing special.

The baked potato was awful. Similar to a tepid wad of wet cardboard with the same level of visual appeal and flavor.

My husband and I got the turkey, half chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, and pickles. We really enjoyed everything! My husband’s favorite side was the beans and mine was the Cole slaw- it was crisp and flavorful without being way over dressed or soggy! Highly recommend! They have 3 types of BBQ sauce- original, spicy, and mustard. All were great but mustard was amazing to me!

Porter’s Real Barbecue is one of those places where you can smell the smoker before you even get to the door.

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of seating, but the food is obviously the main attraction. The barbecue is the real deal, with brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and all the classic sides you’d expect. Portions are generous too, so it’s not hard to leave full.
