We've eaten BBQ from coast to coast. Some amazing (Franklin BBQ-Austin) and some down right awful. Porter's may not be amazing, but it was pretty darn good.
My benchmark is always the brisket. It was super tender and moist. Decent meaty flavor, but not much smokey flavor. Solid effort, but not spectacular.

Porter’s Barbecue at Columbia Center never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the welcoming atmosphere always brightens my day.
Shoutout to Isaiah and Tae for their outstanding customer service—they’re friendly, helpful, and make every visit feel personal.
I don’t just come for the barbecue, but for the whole experience: great food, great people, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

Went on Tuesday at 4pm. Tuesday's special is brisket burn ends. Sold out! Must have been a very busy lunch.

Ordered brisket (marbled), pulled pork and baked potato.

Brisket was excellent, definitely the highlight.

Pulled pork was average, pleasant but nothing special.

The baked potato was awful. Similar to a tepid wad of wet cardboard with the same level of visual appeal and flavor.
