A large salad bar but everything was so wet I question how old it was. The dinner roll quickly got chewy like it had sat in the steaming tray for a while. One waiter and one cook they seemed overwhelmed by 6 tables of early bird dinner guests.
Nicest thing just happened. A gentleman overheard my husband ask if they had a veterans discount. They don’t but the gentleman unbeknownst to us paid for our meal. I wish we could thank the man personally…Good food, great atmosphere and Nick, our server took good care of us.
Had lunch at Sterling's recently and enjoyed the experience. It has that classic local restaurant feel that's common around the Tri-Cities—comfortable, welcoming, and easy to relax in. The food was good, the portions were generous, and the salad bar offered plenty of choices. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff did a good job even during a busy time. It's not a fancy place, but that's part of the appeal.
