I wish I could say this place was good, because it used to be my go to for Hawaiian food. But somewhere between a few years ago and now it has changed. It is absolutely filthy inside the restaurant. It smells like old fryer oil. I ordered the ohana platter and the only thing I could stomach was the Mac salad and some of the kalua pig. The katsu didn't seem cooked all the way through the BBQ chicken was extremely salty and the BBQ beef tasted old. I can't believe how much this place has gone down hill. Will not return. ??

I don't know what happened to this place! It used to be a clean and welcoming establishment. There was only one employee (an older Asian male) who was also the cook. I almost wanted to leave after asking questions but ended up buying the saimin spam and chicken noodle soup. It wasn't until I stayed in my car that I started reading some reviews. This place is definitely not the way it used to be: the counter cleanliness is questionable, the women's bathroom is dirty, the kitchen looks very outdated and questionably unsanitary, and the employee (7/1/21) doesn't look like he cares about how bad the "restaurant" is. I/we will never be going back here unless there's been a drastic change!!! Also, I asked if there is a new owner or new management - the employee shook his head no. I doubt this is true, but whatever the case, this establishment needs to be permanently closed by the health inspection.

My grandpa mom and I all came in today to check this place out and it is amazing we will definitely be coming back again! The food is amazing potions are insanely good for the price and the guys behind it all seemed really cool! I definitely recommend trying it! I know we will be going back again for sure!

The food tasted good but I would have some serious questions about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The kitchen looked filthy and the restroom was as well. Only one person serving, taking orders, and cooking the whole time and it smelled like the cooking oil hadn’t been changed in a long time.
I've worked down the street for years and thought I'd give this place a try.Walking in I noticed immediately that the restaurant hadn't been cleaned in years! There was a white bucket right next to the front doors that they're using as their garbage can.All is all it's disgusting on the inside. The food wasn't very tasteful. I wont be back.

The food was pre made and reheated. The proprietor went into the bathroom and left my food on the grill. He obviously didn't wash his hands and then came back out and finished cooking. I walked out the door, took one look at the sad food and threw it away.

Someone needs to call the health department. The place was unclean floor was sticky. The grill was black as hell. Drink station nasty. My fruit punch literally had a film on top of it. The check out area was dirty and the guy too. I watched an older couple walk in and walk right back out. May be today was a really bad day. Let's talk about the food now. The spam masubi had to be old I couldn't even break thru the spam with a fork. It was so hard. My macaroni Salad is legit spoiled. It tastes sour like it was sitting out too long or just not refrigerated. My white rice just wasn't. The kalua pork no flavor just nothing like OMG!!!! The combo has grill left on it not grill marks. This is the worse. I have never had a complaint like this . I will never eat Hawaiin food again!!! Probably one of my worst experiences with food that I ever had to pay for and not eat I wish I could post a pic!!!
