YES!!!!! I'm from the south, Florida to be exact. This store has officially saved me 😂😂 there is just a difference in the food here and that's understandable. I love getting a taste of home and feeling like I'm back home when I visit.
Altha's is a great shop for authentic cajun and creole ingredients. Whether I'm making gumbo, beans & rice, crawdad Étouffée, or need a boudin fix, this is my one stop shop.
Their in house made Gumbo is just awesome.
The owner is extremely friendly and just a joy to stir up a quick conversation. Although have to let it slide as he is a Saints fan :)
