It’s a fine place. When we’ve gone it’s been good food at reasonable prices. But lately they have had a sign on the door saying that the restaurant is closed today. Any idea when they’ll be back? I called and got no answer.

Came in with friends on a weekday evening. Service was average, drinks were good, and we had time and space to visit. There was no amazing something that would lead me to a 5th star, but I would definitely return.

FRESH bun and CRISP vegetables (lettuce tomato onion added jalapenos) on a perfectly prepared JUICY burger.... which for someone who leans a bit more towards vegetarian ideology, every now and then I still crave a good burger and this did not disappoint.Tater tots! Mmm totally the way to go. Hint of salt on them after a long day on the course, you could argue these were actually needed. Carbs and electrolytes... ?? ice cold and refreshing.The service was amazing. Very attentive, efficient, polite and joyful.Atmosphere ... It was a Saturday night, UW was beating Arizona. The light crowd (25-30% capacity) had a relaxed and positive energy.Clean restrooms. ?I will definitely be going back for food pics (will update later) and another meal after another wonderful round of golf at Riverbend Golf Complex. To be honest, I normally would have taken a couple pictures but when that burger showed up there was no hesitation.Oh, I'd add that I was hungry. It had been about 7hrs since lunch. The burger was big. I wanted to finish the last three bites... I killed the tots instead.

Losing my mojo and starting to get hangry, I needed lunch. Unfortunately we had our dogs with us and didn't want to leave them in a hot car, so we checked Yelp for dog friendly restaurants and the Half Lion Public House came up.Located at a gold course, you can get a burger and some beers here while you sit inside in the bar or outside in the sun watching people take the greens. The server we got was nice and the food was good. It wasn't served on plates but was boxed up, so that was annoying, but whatever. It was just nice to be in a fun place with nice people in the sun with our dogs.

It is located inside golf course area. Decent food options, but pricey for it is.
My husband ordered tacos and got nachos. He thought OK I will eat them. The cheese was like poured on top, the chips were soggy and had no flavor. My friend ordered a sandwich and got something totally different. By the middle of the meal we were so upset we paid and left. Don't give it a chance, there are better places to eat and for less money.

This food was delicious. The tots and potato chips were crispy and fresh. The fish was well battered and the tarter was amazing. It was a big "dill" My husband didn't understand with the beer cheese on the sandwich why there was au jus to dip but he still loved it. The seltzer was delicious. The vibes in the place were awesome. Golfers finishing up their tourney, families snagging a bite and people chill'n and watching sports. The servers were very attentive even with how busy it was and I appreciated that. We will be back every time we come to play golf or just to hit a bucket at the range.

Had the steak frites here, which as others have indicated, are awesome. general food quality is good.I was a little apprehensive because other reviews had said they make you wait a long time. I started getting a bit of a sense of that, even though the restaurant was only about half capacity, but we weren't in a terrible rush so it didn't bother us that much. However, if you're in a hurry, or want more attention at the table, should probably look elsewhere.
