Great people, good food at a reasonable price, and Guinness on tap. If I have any complaint, the Guinness was a little too chilled.
It’s a fine place. When we’ve gone it’s been good food at reasonable prices. But lately they have had a sign on the door saying that the restaurant is closed today. Any idea when they’ll be back? I called and got no answer.
To quote Samuel L. Jackson- "mmm-hmm this IS a tasty burger."The cheeseburger ?? mmm ? so good. FRESH bun and CRISP vegetables (lettuce tomato onion added jalapenos) on a perfectly prepared JUICY burger.... which for someone who leans a bit more towards vegetarian ideology, every now and then I still crave a good burger and this did not disappoint.Tater tots! Mmm totally the way to go. Hint of salt on them after a long day on the course, you could argue these were actually needed....read full review
The Half Lion Public House is a fine restaurant that offers good food at reasonable prices. While the service has been average, the drinks are enjoyable, and the atmosphere is relaxed, especially on a Saturday night when the University of Washington is playing. The cheeseburger is a standout dish, with a fresh bun, crisp vegetables, and a juicy, perfectly prepared patty. The tater tots are also a highlight, providing a satisfying carb and electrolyte boost. The restrooms are clean, and the overall experience is positive, leading to a desire to return for more food and another round of golf at the nearby Riverbend Golf Complex.
