I stopped on another Friday afternoon and they were open this time. For the location the bar is surprisingly like a neighborhood bar where people all knew each other and were very welcoming to me who is not from their neighborhood.
Haven't been to JJ's in a long time nothing's changed except for the area around it. Great little dive bar friendly people great service cold beer frozen glasses what more can you ask for. This place has been a go to.
Oscar was our server today, great guy great service, we really enjoyed ourselves and the gizzards are the best I've ever had. So tender and not greasy. Thanks for a memorable day
