Absolutely fantastic. I'm Viet and I'm generally pretty picky with Viet places, but I just loved this place through and through. The pho was really good, but the winner for me was the coffee, which was just a perfect balance of sweet, bitter, and strong. They also have eggy soda, which is a personal favorite of mine. The owner of the restaurant was a very friendly and kind man who made sure we always had everything we needed. We came on a weekday, which is very quiet and calm. It was a nice way to end a busy day. I've been here a few times and each time has never been anything less than excellent.The owner, Paul, is so kind and always creates a fun environment by treating his customers with kindness and compassion that only someone who loves their job can provide.The service is insanely fast, which is amazing when you're starving and just ready to eat. The #9 is my personal favorite, the amount of meat and noodles never fails to satisfy.It's amazing coming here on a cold and/or rainy day, it hits the spot a little more special.Paul always gives everyone an extra little treat at the end of the night, and my bf and I had the pleasure of getting to see him on his birthday.Happy Birthday, Paul! Here's to 20+ years in business and hopefully many more ?
The interior is simple and feels a bit old, and even though there was only one owner in the hall, he took good care of all the customers and even though he said it might take a while to prepare the stir-fried food (I couldn't take a picture...), it came out very quickly and most of all, it was delicious!! If you crave Vietnamese food, you should come here often!
PAUL IS KING!!! Amazing first time experience, went for the pho left with a new favorite restaurant. Paul is a one man army up front and his sister Hai cooking makes an amazing restaurant. He was attentive, between taking orders, picking up the phone and checkout guests and the food was absolutely delicious, rich pho broth! I’m not huge on tripe but the way they prepared and cut it made me enjoy it where ordinarily I ask to leave it out. Paul asked if I liked my food spicy and I said ‘sometimes’ and he asked if he could offer me something to try and I was open - came back with this magical chili paste broth and added to my pho and it wasn’t a lingering hotness rather a pleasant warmth and denser flavor vs the usually light and aromatic pho most might be accustomed to. He checked in often respectfully, was fun to joke with and at checkout he was so sorry he doesn’t offer desserts but GAVE US A DANG CHOCOLATE BAR WITH OUR RECEIPT ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Genuine and very very sweet family restaurant worth supporting and we WILL be back!!!!! Thank you for the amazing food ? Kid-friendliness: Lots of drawings at the checkout, clearly kids come in and it’s a clean place
