Best Indian Sweet Shop of the Greater Seattle area. We have been customers for over 20 years. I get all our sweets for pujas here, freshly made. Very friendly and helpful staff, family run. Food is great too.
Punjab sweets is hands down the best Vegetarian Indian restaurant in the Seattle area.Their taste is authentic and quality of food is fresh and flavorful. We have been regulars for over 10 years and every time the food and taste is consistently good !
My new fave - Punjab Sweets! The sweets are not overly sugary (my son is like "how is that an Indian sweet, then??"), everything made from scratch, samosas fried right when you order them, very friendly and efficient service. Apparently people from all over the country turn up to buy their food! Check 'em out!
Punjab Sweets has the best Indian food and sweets, which is very clean, fresh and authentic, comes from their heart. Punjab sweets provides their quality Food which is very delicious, fresh, and at a very reasonable quantity and price. My family and I have been enjoying their taste for years and glad to see they’re back open. If you’re looking for authentic Punjabi food and sweets this is the place!
Vegetarian options: A very reliable place for vegetarians
Parking: Easy Parking available
This is by far is my favorite india place to eat. I am from delhi and they have the best samosas I have had in the US or atleast in the Seattle area. Also, I love their vegetarian thali along with the sweets as well. The food is very consistent I have been their customer since 2012.Also I am really excited they back up opening for dine-in post after only take-out during the covid phase
Went here on recommendation by family who has been going for years. We were prepared to buy large quantities of sweets for an upcoming event and enjoy a lunch while there. Unfortunately we wasted our money and had to toss most of the sweets and food. The owner was curt and unfriendly from the time we entered the restaurant and appeared to be annoyed with us the entire time - answering questions in a rude tone (like isn’t this obvious?) and overall not aiding us in selecting our sweets. After paying for all the sweets, we tasted them to find they were not fresh despite being told it was made fresh daily and a “fishy” taste with the jelabi. When we shared this feedback, the owner was offended and defensive and escalated the situation unnecessarily. It got to a point where she had her mother (the chef), who knows very little English, come out to speak to us who eventually asked us to leave. My assumption is that if you speak Hindi or Punjabi or are a regular, they’re nice to you (hence the positive reviews). I wasn’t prepared for this type of selective treatment (read: discrimination) among Indian immigrants in Seattle.
Very good service very fresh sweets and food and tasty
Great experience here with service and food! We came in close to closing and they still were able to put in a small order of food for us. The Chana was delicious and the samosas were exceptional. They were extremely accommodating and kind. Also, the sweets are delectable.
I travel for business to Seattle several times per year. Whenever I do, I love to eat at Punjab Sweets of Kent. This is a family owned restaurant where the owners them selves cook all of the food. The food is like home cooked and nothing has ever been over spicy. Everything I have eaten here has been very good. One of my pet peeves is leaving an Indian restaurant stinking like curry. Here everything is fresh and there is no odor. I can wear my best clothes without worrying about how I smell afterwards. Everything is very clean here and the decor is pleasing and relaxing. If you like Indian sweets they have a large selection of freshly prepared delights. I highly recommend this lovely delicious restaurant. FYI everything is 100% vegetarian but you won’t even miss the meat. Bon appétit
Beware, humiliation & stale sweets. My family and I visited Punjab sweets to pickup jalebi and sweets. They did not provide samples because of Covid. After paying (over $200), when we tasted the Jalebi we all instantly sensed fish odor. When we approached the staff to provide feedback, the lady at the counter said "We cannot make food that everyone likes". I was shocked by the tone she took. My elderly parents stepped in to continue the conversation, she rudely pointed at the door and asked them to leave the restaurant. They felt threatened and humiliated. My pregnant wife stepped in and was subject to the same harsh treatment. She cried all the way back on our ride to Seattle. We thrashed all of the Jalebi and Laddu we bought. This was by far the worst experience I have had in any restaurant. Going by the other reviews I see the staff and owner at Punjab sweets treat their customers without any respect. Save yourself and stay away from Punjab sweets.
Restaurantji Recommends
This place is one of the most authentic places I have ever visited. Everything is very fresh and handmade. I got the Chile bhature and it felt very homey. The sweets are spectacular and the customer service is lovely! We can dine in or take out. I definitely recommend this place to every one!
Everything is made from scratch and if you are missing home food come here and trust me you will stop missing home food ( I ate 5 parathas with home made curd ? ?) .. the parathas are love ❤️❤️and omg can’t stop thinking about food now !!! ? percent recommended ?
Before COVID, I was a regular and enjoyed the sweets here. Last week, I went to the shop and spoke with the owner about their struggle to keep food quality high. I got some sweets, which were not very fresh but tasted good given their circumstances.
The food is so good and authentic. The owner is so friendly, She treats you as a guest rather than a customer. I had the best experience having food at Punjab Sweets. Highly recommended.
Ladoo was okay, gulab jaman was really good but jalebi smelled like it was made in some fish oil or something cuz it smelled like that.
