The food ain't as good as before because it's under new ownership, and they cut corners by using canned chilly. Also, there beef teriyaki they used Yoshida teriyaki sauce on top. I eat in an the food was served in a Styrofoam container..Wheelchair accessibility: No accessibility

Saimin, crispy wontons, and hurricane fries are our favorites here. Recently tried the pork belly bowl and portuguese sausage musubi, which was really delicious as well. Space is limited though.

Oh man. This food was crazy good I had the Fiesta plate which is chamoru food. I chose the brisket and BBQ chicken. Both had a nice char, great flavor, and good portions. that orange chamoru rice is just different in the best way possible. so much flavorThis was soooo good and the price is a bargain. buddy got the mochiko chicken and that was awesome as well.

Had the double Loco Moco with side kimchi.. it was good!!! I always judge “Hawaii” claimed food spots by their Loco Mocos. Now I can go back and try their Saimin.

My boyfriend and I drove from Vancouver to Saimin Says for my birthday lunch and I must say it made my birthday. They have the most wonderful hostess, amazing staff and even more amazing management. I wish I took a picture of my orders but I inhaled it because it was just too delicious. I had the pork belly bowl, empanadas and chicken kelaguin wrap. Everything tasted amazing. If you are a fan of crispy delicious pork belly, this is the #1 spot to go to. They also surprised me with a delicious macadamia bundt cake (I definitely recommend) with a candle. I'd definitely drive 2 and a half hours just to eat here. Renton is so lucky to have a veteran-owned food gem like this!! I'd give 10++ stars if I could. Please stop by and help support this small business. You will love it!! Thank you to everyone at Saimin Says/Mas Pika for a very memorable birthday. You are all beyond amazing! Keep up the amazing work!!! I'll be back soon!!

Headline: OMG DELICIOUS!!!It’s a little hard to find because of the business park buildings all looking the same, but SO worth finding. We were just looking for something close to IKEA and this sounded good and less expensive than other nearby places. After one incredible meal Saimin Says will now be a destination for us. IKEA will be the side trip!My husband, who’s spent a lot of time in Hawaii, was so happy to find Saimin and he LOVED it. (This is a man whose highest praise for food is usually “it was fine”?).I had the combo with kalbi beef and teriyaki chicken. Holy wow they both were amazingly good. Like so delicious you moan while eating good. The chicken thigh had skin on and it was almost like roast duck. Luscious. It’s basically takeaway with a few small tables. Very clean and the person was super nice. Glorious food. Go get some. I want them so busy and successful that they have no choice but to expand to North Seattle so I can eat there all the time!!

Walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. The whole place felt very inviting, the food came out fast and it was delicious. I had a brief but lovely conversation with the woman at the desk who is very knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely would come here again next time I pass through Renton. There was plenty of seating available, but this place should absolutely be packed considering how good it is

I am always looking for good Hawaiian food. We ordered something off their specials menu, i ordered the Kailua pork and cabbage plate and my son ordered 2 spam musubi. There was a lot of food in our plates and it was very well seasoned. I would say the kalua pork flavor was on point with traditional Hawaiian kalua. The spam in the musubi and rice were cooked very well too. Some places have dry rice, but not here!It was amazing! I would go here again to try their saimin someday! It doesn’t have as much seating but on a rainy day like today there was just enough for our small family and another family to eat at the tables. The Hawaiian music playing gave me nostalgia goosebumps. Loved it!Parking: There seemed to be a long row of parking right out front. Keep in mind we went on a Saturday around 3pm.Kid-friendliness: The person behind the counter was very friendly and very informative in choosing a food option.
