Had delivery. The portions are good. Had chicken curry which had good flavor. Also had the combo plate of short ribs and pork/cabbage with mac salad. It was good but took off a star due to no sauce or gravy for the pork/cabbage and rice which made it dry. The mac salad is good, but don't you can't get a side of it. There is a side of tuna/mac on the menu but not just mac salad. You can't purchase a side of curry sauce either which is unusual. Overall, the food...

The food is great. We've been enjoying Saimin Says for years, even when they were located in Kent and had different owners. The Renton location is small (fits less than 10 people), so I recommend taking your food to-go. Our go-to order is the mochiko chicken, lau-lau plate and the double spam moco (gravy on the side).

So impressed with the great food and service! The cashier, Jamie, was so friendly and helpful finding something on the menu that worked with my food allergies. The chicken katsu was delicious and the rice and mac salad were perfect compliments to the plate. Will definitely be coming back.
