Ayce. Order via the app but you are limited to 15 items at a time. Good selection of tools, sashimi, nigri, appetizer items, and soups! Dining time is 90 minutes but they didn't push us out on a Thursday. Smallish salad and dessert buffet. Ice cream sandwiches or ice cream prepackaged cups are available as well.

We decided we didn’t want to order food once they set us to the table due to the extreme lack of interest from the assigned server. She had an attitude from the moment we set and I find it highly unprofessional. Good service is always what brings more customers in , please do better sumo !

Terrible experience. To start, the website says lunch is $21.95 and dinner is $32.95. We went there on Saturday around 2 pm and they told us Saturday is the dinner price all day. It does not state this anywhere on their website. That should’ve been our first sign not to eat there. We decided to stay and try it anyway and ordered some items but apparently you can only order one steak at a time. Some items arrived pretty quickly, but the meat took a very long time. We still hadn’t received our short ribs after 45 minutes but we were busy eating other food so I forgot about it. When I asked, they told me they didn’t see the ticket for it and asked if we still wanted it. After they finally brought it out to us there was maybe one small piece of meat that was actually edible since the majority of it was bones and grizzle. Terrible quality meat. The free drinks (Thai tea and mango juice) were also terrible but since we got stuck paying the dinner price, we didn’t want to pay extra for soda. It’s ridiculous that the $32.95 doesn’t include s soft drink. The self serve bar was out of half of the items and wasn’t restocked at any time during our meal. Another issue was the menu online showed fried scallops, but that was not an option when we tried to order at the restaurant. The sushi was some of the worst quality I’ve ever had. This restaurant is overpriced and the quality of food is terrible. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Such a fun place to eat!

First off, the robots are super cute and fun. My son absolutely loves them.

The human waitstaff are also great though! Always kind and friendly.

The food quality is higher than you'd expect at an all you can eat place. If say the rolls and sashimi are on part for a casual Japanese place. Perfectly satisfying. The sashimi is also fresh and tasty.

In all honesty, the 15 dish limit every 15 minutes is more than enough for a family of 3. We were slowing down after just one round!

Highly recommend for a tasty meal in a lovely atmosphere, though be aware it's a popular spot abs you may have to wait on a Saturday night during peak times.

Loved all the options at the salad bar! Hot foods include fried chicken wings, calamari, miso soup, fries and more. The drink options were great as well. We purchased the gold option for $21 and had so many choices from hand rolls to single platters like katsu chicken. We thoroughly enjoyed all our food.

The service was terrible. We went before closing, and they told us that since it was almost closing time, we could only order once. We agreed, but when we ordered a bit more food at once, they complained about it. The waitress who helped us order was very nice, but when we were leaving and paying the bill, another staff member not only ignored us but even rolled her eyes at us. I believe she may have shown racial discrimination. I will never come back to this restaurant, and I will never recommend it to any of my friends.

I enjoyed my lunch experience at Sumo recently. Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is clean and comfortable. They have robots that deliver some of the food, which is cute and fun. There are some buffet items to self select and a regular menu to order a la carte. Most of the food is quite good, if not great. I would go again when I'm in the area. Worth it!

I have been to the one in Tacoma and Kent, I loke them both! These portions of sushi are huge! So be ready, but unlimited everything is so amazing. AYCE but the sushi rolls are fat :) Unlimited thai tea and boba! So many snacks and treats from the hot bar. There is more parking at the Tacoma one but I love going to the Kent more.
