Sushinola is a fun Mexican-Japanese fusion spot with tasty sushi rolls, mangonadas, and micheladas. The rolls were good, though most were fried/heavy, so it’s more fusion than traditional sushi. Main downside is the price: it was about $70 per person, which felt very expensive for what we got. Good food and drinks, but hard to justify as a regular spot.
The service was amazing, everyone was welcoming and nice. We wanted to try the fusion, they did have English or Spanish menus which was nice. I didn't know what to expect, my husband who is Hispanic loved the aguachile verde and I tried one of the sushi rolls that had carne asada, shrimp, and chicken and it was really good. I LOVED LOVED THE SHRIMP THAT I GOT WITH THIS AMAZING SAUCE!!!! I had to deshell the grilled whole shrimp and oh my goodness it was amazing. I don't know what it was called, however, I described what I wanted and the waitress knew exactly what it was even though they got a new menu.
