Sadly after 30yrs on going here it’s not the same owners and the Mac Salad is not the same. I would literarily drive an hour to go here just to get their Mac salad and would always order an extra side but this last time it was different. It wasn’t hawaii style. Not sure what changed because the teriyaki and short ribs still tasted the same but the Mac noodles were harder and instead of it being cold and scoopable it was loose noodles and saucy. Come for the lunch special and bring an empty stomach! A huge plate of delicious food for less than 20 bucks at lunch time is a rarity these days.

Ordered a basic (T1) teriyaki. It was perfectly grilled, not too charred, not underdone, just right with juicy bites inside. Super clean presentation, you can tell they care. The sauce came on the side, so I dipped just how I like it, game changer. Honestly felt like they put real thought into one plate. Appreciated every bite.
