My husband and I had an amazing brunch at Wild Wheat today! We were greeted at the door with genuine smiles. Our waitress Paulina was very helpful with determining our order. While the prices seemed high at first, once the food arrived we found the portions were huge - we have enough each for a second meal. We both had omelettes - stuffed with meats. We were provided fresh from the oven rolls ahead of the meal as well! Paulina made sure we were happy through our meal. We will be back!

I came in for breakfast, most of the smaller plates are $20 and bigger ones are $30+ . which is ridiculously high for a place like this. inside isn’t too clean, half the building is boarded with wood with broken windows. the food and service was okay but it’s not worth it. my silverware wasn’t clean. forks had some rust and looked dirty overall. had to clean it with water because server didn’t come so i can ask for new ones. i definitely won’t be coming back. i ordered a meat omelette which the “meat” was all mushrooms.

Do NOT eat here if you have celiac! Ordered GF Blintzes yesterday thru doordash for pickup, got there and ZERO indicator of my order being GF and asked to confirm if it was GF and they said yes. Well they were WRONG as I am now having a full reaction and this was the only "new" thing I ate yesterday.
Dietary restrictions: Claim to have gluten free but when you arrive all their breads are on the same shelf and NOT labeled. There is so much cross contamination it's a hazard to anyone with celiac

On Monday morning 3/31, I stopped by this place to get some breakfast before my flight and I was disappointed. I have ordered a smoked salmon omelette with potatoes and whole grain toast. When they brought the omelette out, it was filled with just a lot of cream cheese, and little smoked salmon. Only thing I liked was the toasted whole grain bread and their potatoes. When I asked the staff politely about switching a different meal or adding more items but their response was “we cannot do that.” Not very professional!! Their prices on their food menu is ridiculous high. Spending $25 for an omelette is a joke. I would give them 3 star rating. If you can find a different cafe or other breakfast spot, I would recommend going there. Thank you!

Specialty coffee comes in a huge cup, pastries, and obviously food. I have only ever had their breakfast and about 90% of the times I have dined in I was satisfied with the serviceand food.
Sadly today 3/30 they were supposed to be open after doing some renovation and when we showed up they said "sorry we're closed" clear sign on door said they'd be back open on March 30th. Had to go to Maggie's and boy was that disappointing but hopefully we have better luck next time. I'd recommend trying this restaurant.

We had the French toast and biscuits and gravy and both were very good. While the prices seem a bit high at first the portions are very generous and the food is excellent. The bench seat was a bit dirty but otherwise the restaurant was clean. Bathrooms were also clean. Purchased some pastries to go that were also wonderful.

Maybe it’s because we came on an off day, they were closing early for renovations, or because it was absolutely packed. The food was mediocre at best and extremely pricey. Their biscuits and gravy were bland mush on top of freezer burned and dense biscuits. I had high hopes for this brunch spot and was let down hard. Sorry to say I may never come back despite the great customer service.

Very large, tasty, and stuffed omelets. It also came with toast from a variety of breads from which to choose. A spectacular gem of a breakfast spot with excellent customer service.

Disappointing coffee and abominable service. It really sucks when you pay $6+ on a 16oz caramel latte and more than half of the cup is foam, there is no caramel flavor, and it is tap-water lukewarm.
It is also frustrating when there are three girls standing by the cash register, two having a personal conversation and the other is texting on their phone. When they finally look up, after you have been standing awkwardly there for long enough to know the gist of their personal conversation, you are treated like you are a bother and a nuisance.
Awful coffee, awful service. I won’t be a bother to these employees again and will find another bakery for coffee and pastries on a gorgeous Sunday morning.

I asked for a slice of apple pie warmed up. They served it on a paper doily that disintegrated into little pieces in each bite.. :(

We arrived about 10:30 on a Thursday and were not met with a welcoming or engaging atmosphere. I shared the portobello omelette with my niece (we added spinach). The potatoes were oily though soft, the omelette rather plain though not terrible. The space did not feel especially clean (carpet did not seem to have been cleaned in sometime), service was adequate. I had a mocha that did not look like the pictures on their website. I suspect a lot of stock photos. Anyway, no inspiration to return.
In response to the owner comment that the restaurant was noisy, we were one of 3 tables — business was slow at that time.

the food is real. the people are real. huge breakfasts (i got the herbed omelette made with fresh herbs!) they make their own breads (whole wheat hazelnut currant!), butter is real, maple syrup is real, and their jam is homemade. and the price (especially with the bird flu now) is very reasonable. what a find!
