Visited Bottle and Bull to catch up with a friend and try some cocktails. It was packed inside so getting a reservation was a smart idea. Drinks were solid and service pleasant throughout. Didn't try any food on this visit.

My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)

I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me...

We went here for a date night. Recommend having a reservation. Very cozy vibe and ambiance. Drinks were especially good - cocktails weren’t overloaded with sugar and were delicious. For appetizers, we ordered the roasted cauliflower and date and chèvre tartines; the latter was outstanding! Entree was the mushroom pasta which was divine. We just wished the entree was brought after the appetizers - oddly we had the entree brought first followed by the starters so it went a little...
