Such a great find! Comfort food in large proportions. Very tailored to take out and the staff is very friendly.

This is a walk up counter - no seating. Not sure if it was an off day, but sadly wasn’t as yummy as I was hoping.
- Banana cream pie: hard, tasteless crust with super gelatinous banana filling. Tastes very artificial and not super appetizing.
- Chicken and pork combo: chicken had good flavor but was dry. Pork was also dry and on the fatty side.
May return to give it another shot.

Buddha Brudda has been my initial and favorite Hawaiian food experience. I'm in love with the macaroni salad, I always want extra. The servings are large and worth coming back to later for another meal. The food tastes so good. I'll be getting it again soon for sure.

Been to the one in Kenmore many times, everything has been delicious. The one here in Kirkland is *take-out only*, so be sure to plan accordingly. The Kirkland menu is also slightly larger, with a few Thai dishes in addition to the mainstay Hawaiian fare. Also delicious! Oh, and the _smells_ of it all while they’re cooking up your order — divine.
The only criticism I can think of is the prices — but they’re actually in line with just about all Seattle-area restaurants anymore. Two mains plus two Thai iced teas plus tax and tip came to about ~$70. Mind you, the portions are *huge*, so at least you’re getting two meals out of it.
Updated 2024, sadly the food quality here has dropped and so has the service. I usually order the chicken at this location, the food is always ready in under 5 minutes which I appreciate but last couple times it has been almost cold, also the mac is pretty bland and bad. the food safety rating for this place has dropped. I think I'll have to take a break from this place till they improve back to the original quality when they first opened.

Great food and very friendly people at the counter too.
Spice level tends to be on the higher end - medium is quite spicy

Fast service and delicious food. We have been loyal customers for two years now and never disappointed. Don’t forget to try chili ?️ oil and amazing desserts. Super yummy.

If I had to describe the food in one word, that word would be “bland.” We ordered the Kalua pork plate. The pork was flavorless, a bit over cooked, and dry. The mac salad had just enough mayo that it wasn’t just a pile of elbows. Not sure what that cold slaw was, but it was not good. Only thing that was decent was the white rice. Won’t be back to this location.

Quality has gone severely downhill with new employees none of which I recognized from before
Kaluha pork was half fat the slaw was flavorless and had giant pieces of cabbage core and portion sizes are definitely smaller making it not worth 20 bucks like it used to be
Lack of quality control means I will no longer be a customer at any of these franchise locations and the brand is tainted in my mind
Second review update:
Decided to give them another shot since the owner replied to my review
This place will forever lose my business I don’t care if the food is good or not what annoys me is the tip setting they have set for square pay when ordering off their website
It is default to 20 percent and there isn’t a “no tip” option you must go to custom and type in zero to remove the tip that is already added to the order
This is scummy technique to get more money from people who order online quickly instead of paying their employees properly
Why do I have to tip just to pickup my own food!?
This is not even a sit down location it’s literally standing room only what service am I tipping for?!
First review:
Haven’t ordered in a couple months and the last time the used to have paper boxes instead of plastic but the food doesn’t taste the same
The last time I ate the same exact thing but remember so many more flavors now everything seems bland from the slaw to the kaluha pork which had so much fat and tasted flavorless
Seems like an entirely different staff working now so I doubt I will back
No place to sit
