I have been coming here since I was a kid. This will forever be favorite donut place. I am so happy to be able to share it with my daughters. Mike is always so nice to us when we come to visit. The sugar donuts are my favorite, it's like biting into a sugar cloud.

I walked in on a Friday morning and saw an older man behind the donut case applying maple and chocolate frosting by grabbing them with bare hands, dipping them, then laying them on a tray. Ok, I'm not "Mr. Squeamish" so I'm thinking to myself that I'm sure he washes his hands as he goes. NOT EVEN! He kept at it, ignoring me and 2 more ladies that had walked in. Ok, no worries, he's there by himself, he has to do it all. He took my order, grabbed my donuts with BARE HANDS, filled my travel mug with coffee, then took my debit card, worked the cash register, the card machine, and went back to handling food again WITH BARE HANDS, NOT ONCE WASHING THEM OR USING GLOVES OR TONGS! On top of that, he charged me $8.75 for 2 donuts abs a coffee refill. This guy and his place are a germ factory! Patronize at your own risk!???

Love the maple bars! Much preferable to Top Pot. Countryside donuts are lighter and more yeasty. Yum!

I arrived at Countryside Donut House in Kirkland around 10:40 a.m. today, Thursday 7 December 2023, and found the donuts going going gone quickly. Fortunately, they had what I had hoped for, buttermilk bar donuts. I decided to go with two, which came to a total of $4.40. The worker who helped me was friendly and eager to engage in conversation. The donuts were a moderate density for buttermilk donuts. The exterior of each was crisp and the glaze applied in a thin layer. The sweetness of the glaze was not overpowering. I found the two donuts to be a perfectly satisfying quantity as they were on the smaller side.

This place took the crown for the king of donuts in Kirkland! Bought a dozen for the team, and they flew out of the box! Easily my new go-to spot for breakfast treats!

Hasn’t been renovated since probably 2002, and it’s perfect that way.If you go around 6 or 7am, the donuts will knock your socks off, and then some.How good are they?I came here for the first time about a week ago—it’s been 7 days and I’ve gone every morning now. The maple bars deserve an award.

I can tell the donuts here are made with passion. The owner solo runs the entire shop and is extremely nice. the donuts aren’t greasy and taste fresh and there isn’t a sickening sweet smell I don’t like at most donut shops. We got 5 different donuts and they were all amazing. The presentation is amazing and the box is super cute too. This place is amazing for morning travelers.

I used to bring my kids here before school when they were young, but then I moved out of the area, so I never drove past it anymore. Now I work down the street and let me tell ya, my coworkers LOVE that I bring these in. They are literally the best donuts ever. So light and fluffy. The flavors are incredible. You can keep your cardboard Top Pot, I'll give this place my business any day.

The worse donuts on the planet. Waste of money. The chocolate raised was wet under the surface, the taste was disturbing and the prices, well, $9 for four bad donuts even in Kirkland is unacceptable. I look at the photos and think, these are not the same. I also read the reviews and agree about the rude feeling I got when I walked in. I won’t go back, Safeway down the street has better donuts, and that should tell you how bad this place is.
