I arrived at Countryside Donut House in Kirkland around 10:40 a.m. today, Thursday 7 December 2023, and found the donuts going going gone quickly. Fortunately, they had what I had hoped for, buttermilk bar donuts. I decided to go with two, which came to a total of $4.40. The worker who helped me was friendly and eager to engage in conversation. Absolutely delicious. This place is a blast from the past. Hasn’t been renovated since probably 2002, and it’s perfect that way.If you go around 6 or 7am, the donuts will knock your socks off, and then some.How good are they?I came here for the first time about a week ago—it’s been 7 days and I’ve gone every morning now. The maple bars deserve an award.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. This will forever be favorite donut place. I am so happy to be able to share it with my daughters. Mike is always so nice to us when we come to visit. The sugar donuts are my favorite, it's like biting into a sugar cloud.
