I want to like this place more than I do. The food is pretty good and as someone from New York, I love the family diner feel. However, every time I come here, the service is terrible. The waiters are not friendly and I only ever see them twice: once to take my order, and once to give me the check.

Food is ok, service is not great. Some of their seatings are very close to each other. If any plus sized customer sit behind you then you are kind of just uncomfortably squeezed to your table.

Experience was good. We got seated almost immediately. Need to find street parking. Good good. Waffles are crunchy but soft inside as I love them. We also tried Hero sandwich. Little extra pesto was used. Tots were crispy. Coffee was average. Biscuits and gravy was delicious and had vegetarian option.

Not worth it. Service was very slow, food was ok, nothing special. Asked for an omelette and it was served on a chipped plate, store bought bread toast and hash brown that looked like it was made from a frozen patty.
Meh experience.

Might have just been the day but spent about 40 minutes waiting for our food. Got the chorizo Benedict. Food came out cold, cheese wasn’t melted, hashbrowns were kinda sad, but portions weren’t too bad.
Overall, this would be a great place to go spend time with the family, so expect slow service and kitchen.

Isn't actually open at 7:42am on a Sunday
This is a lovely local neighborhood restaurant that I have been patronizing for the last 20 years. The food is consistent and the service is exceptional.

I had breakfast here and found their menu to be somewhat unique (as far as breakfast fare goes) with a proud focus on benedict variations. I chose a Keto Plate (no carbs) which seemed a little pricy for what arrived, but ended up being flavorful and attractively presented.
I was very surprised though when they informed me that taking my last cup of coffee in a to go cup was not their practice. I already had the coffee in my cup and the prices seemed more than adequate to spare me a paper cup. So a weird quirk for breakfast diners to be aware of. I would imagine it’s the same deal for iced teas later in the day.
My sense is that the staff works to make the most they can within the owner’s decisions (pricing, to go cups, etc…). They clearly endeavor to be accommodating (although a little forgetful) and were ready to offer smiles to everyone :-)
