There is no place like LizzyKate.Trust me.I moved out of state and I've tried to find something similar with no success.I've resorted to ordering their tea online. But it doesn't come close to being able to chat with the employees about what I'm feeling for the day or about the new teas they have and to get a curated recommendation. Great selection of teas, very friendly and helpful staff, and they carry Japanese sweets (wagashi) from Tokara! So happy to have found a place on the Eastside that is serious (but not snobby) about tea.

Delicious tea and helpful staff with lots of explanations of the different loose-leaf teas available. We smelled a half-dozen herbal teas (including a lovely turmeric chai spiced with cayenne pepper they had to warn us about before they opened it) before deciding on a few to take home.
