Very nice overall, from reception, through dinner, to finishing up. Ambiance was good. Lighting perfect.
Food was good enough but late afternoon service was really disjointed. Our server was very nice and I suspect other staff left it up to him to take care of everything b/c it was between lunch and dinner. So I would say this is a larger comment not to the wait staff but those managing or behind the bar to be more attentive. Or just close during off hours to centralize service and make for a better dining experience. Was fine enough but not sure I would come back, especially since I'm rarely on the eastside.
The place looks nice and we were greeted and seated right away. Seattle restaurant week was going on, so we were given an extra menu with those selections on it. Our server showed up. Didn't go over anything with us (specials, the special menu, items not available, etc.), he just asked if we were ready to order. My wife just wanted a salad and an appetizer. The server immediately says, "You can't order items from two menus." She wasn't. She was ordering off the main menu. One of the items she was ordering was on two of the menus. We clear that up and he disappears. Didn't see him again until we were almost finished with our food. When he did show up, he dropped the check on our table and said we could take our time. My reply... " Is dessert not available? " The server brought us a dessert menu. This server never checked to see if our food was prepared correctly. Never asked if we needed anything. Didn't ask if I wanted a second cocktail (which I did). Didn't ask if we wanted dessert (which we did). Didn't check back after we got our desserts. Overall, the food was ok, the service wasn't. The cost of the meal was on par with restaurants that serve better food and provide much better service. We won't be coming back. To be clear about the food... the citrus beet salad was great. The steak I had was slightly overcooked and the presentation was poor. A few pieces of steak on a plate with fries. The fries were tasty. My wife thought the salmon was just ok. My wife had the pumpkin creme and thought it was good. I had the apple cobbler which was done poorly. Served in a skillet that was too big for the portion with a crumble topping that wasn't fully cooked.
Food was good, ambience is nice, comfy chairs, and the room isn't too noisy. Love their house margarita! But the service could be better.
We were a party of 4 and all of the entrees we selected were not available! it's not like we arrived late and they ran out. We were dining at 6pm. Furthermore, our server wasn't aware of it so we placed our desired orders only to find out 10 minutes later than none were available. It was disappointing to say the least. The food we ended up ordering was fair but I wouldn't say excellent. Atmosphere/ambience was very nice and so was the wait staff.
Our server was very unattentive. The Baratta appetizer was good, however the chopped salad was the worst chopped salad I've ever had.
Beautiful dining room, delicious food, attentive service, superlative location. What's not to love?

Where to start.... showed up at 7:30 and was told they had no record of our reservation and it would be a half hour wait. OK, fine, we'll get a drink at the bar. The bartender was great, and our drinks were good.
45 minutes later we still hadn't been seated so we tracked down the waitress and she seated us. Reader, there was not a single table that was occupied. The restaurant was completely 100% empty.
I ordered the clams and chorizo and was told that they had run out of clams. Ok.... Ordered a flatbread instead and my wife ordered the pasta pommodoro with meatballs.
45 minutes later our food arrived (mind you the restaurant is still completely empty). At this point it is 9:00 and we had been there for an hour and a half. The flatbread was fine, decent but nothing special. The pasta was mushy and the meatballs were bland. We didn't see our waitress again until we had to flag her down for the check.
It was a special night for us, our anniversary and the first night we'd had without kids in years and we both left sad and disappointed.

Overall, our experience at Hearth was great. The food was very flavorful and we enjoyed the shrimp. On the other hand, the staff was not personable with the exception of Victor. The staff did not check in on us, and Victor served us throughout the evening.
A really great burger here! Great spot in Kirkland that I will have to visit again.

Our server was really great. But the choices were limited and portions pretty small especially salads. Chopped salad was not Chopped and Beet salad while good pretty small for a meal. No bread served
New chef Tiffany is showcasing her skills with a menu that has something for everyone with reasonable prices. The scallops are just $22 and the prawns even less. Prawns are an app but perfect meal for someone with a smaller appetite. Viktor tends bar Wednesday-Saturday and sitting in the bar to eat is always fun when he’s there. He carefully selects many of the ingredients in his cocktails and is a true mixologist.

I have always enjoyed eating at The Hearth. The recent remodel of the dining room is just lovely, and really enhances the whole experience ~ more cozy, warm and inviting. Our service was gracious and our meals were very tasty. It is easy to hear one another and have a nice conversation without having to talk over music that is too loud.
OUTSTANDING breakfast experience. My server Manny delivered amazing hospitality. Chef Tiffany's Eggs Benedict and signature hollandaise was the best breakfast I have ever had there and I have dined there for years. Her hollandaise was perfect, it would have been criminal to add hot sauce and the potatoes so well seasoned I pushed away the ramekin of ketchup that was provided on the plate. Well done Hearth!! Keep up the amazing work!
I liked the new decor. The dining room was quiet, service was attentive and my turkey sandwich was delicious.
