Wonderful dining experience and great food with a local legend. Chef Lynn has been cooking classic French meals in Kirkland for over 20 years and still brings the passion to her cooking that is usually only seen in newer chefs. Bravo!

Tasty meal in a nice atmosphere! It was our friend’s birthday and they gave her a complimentary glass of bubbly when we arrived! Meal portions were large.

We have been coming to Lynn's for 20 years since moving to Kirkland, and her food never disappoints. While we routinely try out new places, Lynn's is like a reliable warm hug from an old friend. Her sauces are to die for, and everything perfectly cooked. It's difficult to choose my favorite, but her shrimp ravioli, french onion soup, and filet mignon are top of my list.Sat evening i had Fish of the Day, which was Salmon in mushroom butter sauce. It comes with sautéed vegetables and scalloped potatoes. My husband had crab cakes in lobster sauce which came with the same sides. This guy who detests anything green gobbled down the vegetables first. It's a testament to how perfect Lynn's sautéed vegetables are. He also never eat soup, except the French onion soup at Lynn's.My salmon was perfectly cooked, silky smooth and full of flavor. Crab cakes were large chunks of jumbo lumps in a lobster sauce that makes you mop up every drop with the hot french rolls.Service was friendly and prompt without pretentiousness. Lynn's is a gem that will have you coming back for repeat visits.

Friend made reservation and I saw “reservation only” on the door. Probably best to have reservation before going. My favorite was the duck breast, which was the most tender one I have ever had. I also love their desserts, like crème brûlée and bread pudding, while I don’t usually like desserts.People also go there for escargot, crab cake, and chicken pate, and I think those were decent. However, I truly couldn’t find other good French restaurants in Seattle area.

The good and the Fair.... Have been going to Lynn's for over 20 years. The first time was 2000 or 2001. The crab cakes are amazing. The sauce was (very) rich and flavorful. My partner's shrimp ravioli with lobster sauce was a big hit. The sauce was also very rich. Keep in mind that having both the crab cakes and ravioli may have been too much for one meal. Not a criticism, just an observation. My partner had the fish of the day (halibut) with a ginger sauce. She's had the halibut before and it's always cooked beautifully. The sauces are have been different on different visits. All were good with no disappointments. I've enjoyed the pork, chicken, rib eye, and on one visit, she offered a venison dish. I decided I don't like venison, but that's different than not being well seasoned. Probably close to 40 meals over the years, and only one that I didn't enjoy (Beef Bourguignon on one visit. Haven't seen it since). I've had one or two meals that were not to my taste, but that is not her fault.

It's so good. It's also up there is price for me but you get great value when all is said and done. I love the food, service and atmosphere. The $70 per person menu was out standing.

Great place to have some French food. Imy wife and I would probably skip the French soup. It's decent but we prefer other places where there is more onions (caramelized!) And crispy croutons rather than soggy ones. The duck I had and the escargot that my wife had as well as the crab cakes were great. The desserts are yummy too. The best really are the sauces on the entrees! Hahaha.

The best meal in Kirkland. The ambience is great, nice for a date or group of friends. The food is always consistently delicious and the service is top notch every time. The location is walkable and there is a pay parking lot a few blocks away. This hidden gem should not be missed. Remember to make a reservation.

Lynn's is always a great place for a romantic and excellent dinner. My wife and I had dinner a Lynn's on Nov. 18th to celebrate my birthday. Everything we ate was wonderful, and the service was equal to the food. I have one issue though. The dining room was lit up like we were going to experience a Friday night football game. A minor quibble, but it took away from the ambiance. I would suggest to Lynn a dimmer setting. Having said that perhaps it was simply a case of a staffer forgetting to turn down the brightness setting. It certainly will no restrict me from dining at Lynn's Bistro again, and again.

We were regular customers at Lynn's prior to the pandemic. This was our first time back in over 2 years. It's alwaus been really fine dining, true to the French style. There are two different prix fixe menues, not much difference in some of the choices, even though there's a $10 difference between the two. For starters, I had the escargot -- tasty with tons of butter, garlic, and cibatta bread for dipping. My husband had the French onion soup with guyere. It was so rich (and delicious) that he couldn't eat the rest of his meal! The duck breast is a Lynn's specialty, but this night, although the taste was great, it was just a tad overcooked from the medium rare that I had ordered. The escalloped potatoes were creamy and perfect! The accompanying vegetables left a little be desired-- zucchini, green beans, and red peppers were not very exciting and bland. The creme brulée dessert was everything it should have been -- creamy flan with a burtnt sugar topping. I was surprised that it was served cold, as I believe the last time I had it at Lynn's, it was warm. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was reasonable. Over all, Lynn's is still a fine restaurant and a special place for a date or celebration.
