I’ve been to reunion a few times. I always forget they don’t have complimentary water. I got their drinks before but this time I just ate my food without water.

I was a bit disappointed with the portion of my Nasi Lemak with Pork Belly seasonal dish. The rice took up most of the dish. For the price it seemed a small proportion. No one raved about the food as we ate either. I forgot to ask everyone’s opinions.

The decoration was cute and almost like a hostel with all the Malaysian and USA flags. The staff was very kind and friendly.

Great to have a Malaysian restaurant in Kirkland. My Nasi Lemak was good and would like to try other things. But it’s a little bit on the expensive side

This self-service concept where we ordered first and then bus to our own cleaned up. Despite this, we returned for a second visit!

The first time, we ordered teh tarik, which unfortunately was rather bland, tasting more like milk than tea. However, the nasi lemak was flavorful with a small portion of sambal, but the sambal had a surprising level of heat. This was unexpectedly good, especially since the cold weather made us crave some warm and comforting food. We also ordered kaya butter brioche toast and Milo.

The second time, we ordered Mamak Mee Goreng, coffee, Mocha bomb and curry meatballs. The Mamak Mee Goreng was good but lacked the expected spiciness. We searched for chilli sauce in the open space, but unfortunately, there was nowhere to be found. The drinks were mediocre.

So overall, it felt like Malaysian fusion, where we did not expect an exact replica of the originals, we hope for a taste closer to 80% of the authentic level.

Food is good but not for the value. DT Seattle price at DT Kirkland. The tea was very watered down as well.

Sad that this place no longer provide the same quality that they used to. I ordered the seafood laksa and the shrimp was raw. Also, for a restaurant that serves spicy food, they don’t provide water is disappointing. At least they could’ve informed me when I placed my order that I had to buy bottled water too. I also had to bus my own table and grab my own utensils. Made me wonder what I tipped them for?

Overall, it's too pricey. The food is decent, but the portion size doesn't justify the cost. I ordered the Laksa with pork belly noodles, and while the pork belly was delicious, I still felt hungry after finishing the noodles. However, if you enjoy Malaysian food, it's worth trying at least once!

Over priced for pretty mediocre food and service. Portion size for a $13 side curry was a joke. Definitely not going back.

A little pricey but food has a lot of flavor. The seafood laksa and beef rendang was delicious! The chicken from the National Plate was okay. Would def go back to this place if we're ever in Kirkland.
Owners are super nice!

The food here was really great and the staff was very friendly and patrons were as well. It was an unexpectedly excellent surprise. I'll go back for sure.

I finally got to try this Malaysian restaurant and it was pretty good. Since it was takeout, I couldn't let them know easily that there was a lot of sand and grit in the first clam I ate. The remainder were okay. The seafood was plentiful in my dish but the broth was a bit spicy for my tolerance. It was overall comforting and well-prepared, though! I may be back to try their less spicy options.

I was born in Singapore, I ate and cooked all these dishes growing up, Infact I was in sg and Malaysia a few weeks ago lol. They are not supposed to taste like this. Ordered the nasi lemak rendang and mama mee goreng. Both were salty, not inedible though. However the flavour was bad. Rendang was watery, lacked the unique creaminess and slap of the Kaffir lime leaves. Ikan bilis ( anchovies) was soggy, sambal provided was not nasi lemak sambal ( they just fried chill and made a paste). Mama mee goreng is made with the ground lentils and peanuts thats what gives it a unique flavour coating the noodles this place just simply fried noodles and it was greasy. Shrimp in mee goreng was good, I’m not sure if it was fresh it might have been and I liked it. Price for nasi lemak rendang was 19.5 and 18 for mee goreng. I recommend maya Asian market for rendang or Kedai makan Seattle. Infact h-mart Prima taste rendang is pretty solid and the Prima taste laksa instant noodle is great too, been living of that since being here for school. Service was good they seem like nice people and they checked on us a few times, hate to put down a family business but this is not personal just an objective review of food.
