I was not picky about ice cream till I met salt&straw this is the best ice cream I’ve ever tried. I live in Vancouver but I can go to Seattle just for the ice cream! Brownie, double folded vanilla and salted caramel are my fav. I’ve tried salted caramel in other places before. This is the first time I like salted caramel

Came here after the amazing Korean barbecue place next door. We wanted to get some things sweet for dessert so we decided to get some ice cream. I've never been here before and I wanted to try the flavors before ordering but because I have a nut allergy I was told that I couldn't try any of the flavors because all of the scoops are cross-contaminated with nuts. Employee then describe the flavors instead and I had placed my order and only after actually tasting the ice cream did I find out it's not actually ice cream. The ice cream is laden with salt and the flavors just aren't good and I wish I was able to try anything before I had placed my order. It's really a shame. I won't return and will be telling people I know that haven't tried this place to pass. The last thing you want when you're looking for a desert is the overwhelming taste of salt.

Some flavors are very very unusual, so ask them for a sample to try.
Parking is huge.

Salt and straw ice cream is always great, my favorite flavor is the lavender. This location is small but the staff do an amazing job managing the line and moving people through quickly, do not be intimidated if the line is out the door, you’ll be leaving with ice cream within 10 minutes!

Stay away from the Pear and Blue Cheese to-go tubs. We got one last weekend, and it had black moldy blue cheese. After opening it, a foul smell came; after checking inside, we saw that the blue cheese had already turned black/moldy. I couldn't bear the smell and felt nausea. We just threw the pack away.
