Noise level rated high due to Super Bowl. Food was great: hot, savory. Service was top notch.
Sparrow is always a wonderful experience! Great service, interesting menu and engaging ambiance. Had the crab and shrimp salad - it was delicious! Live music in the bar made for a perfect evening! Will be back again soon. Easy parking.
Feel like we have found a new favorite date night spot! We went for Sunday brunch with family and friends and the entire table agreed that The Sparrow is the place to dine! Affordable too!
Great restaurant that locals love, and the menu is current and the dishes inspired/flavorful. Service was very good, well coordinated, and I am always pleasantly surprised when you can still find a service team that understands pivot points on tables (who ordered what and no entree auctioning of food). They welcomed you in and thanked you for coming. Kudos to whoever is managing this restaurant as they understand the basic tenants of restaurant service and hospitality.
I did not know what to expect. I had looked at the pictures online and the menu. The menu seemed pretty upscale though not outlandish given today's restaurant prices. The service was impeccable and the menu while a bit limited was varied enough to be challenging to choose what I would like. I chose the beef short rib which was perfectly prepared served with baked polenta. My wife and I shared the beet and pear salad. My wife chose a pasta dish with Italian sausage and mushrooms. She raved about her choice and mine was perfect as well. Not much else to say. We will definitely be back even though it is a bit out of the way for us.
Lovely restaurant for large groups! And wow the parking lot is so convenient. The brunch menu had a wide selection of items, and it was easy to customize our plates with add-on sides. The table seating (indoors) was comfortable and spacious for our group of 10 guests. It was half bench seating and half chairs but plenty of table space for all the dishes. We got two large orders of the donut holes, and they were a group favorite! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Standout food items were: - Cinnamon french toast - Biscuits and gravy - Chicken and waffles Would definitely eat here again, but there was some room for improvement -- the waiter was very kind and attentive at the beginning but seemed overworked toward the end. We had to ask for our leftovers because they never came back from being boxed, and the bill took longer than expected. Also, when we were initially seated, there was food from the previous party flung onto the bench seating. With a few minor tweaks, this can easily be a 5-star experience.
The food, service, and ambiance were all very good, everything we tried was well prepared and the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere made for a really pleasant dining experience. The only downside was that several items from the menu were unavailable during our visit, which limited our choices. Hopefully that is something they can improve, because otherwise it is a great spot and we would be happy to return.
I was pleasantly surprised! The food was so delicious, the drinks were fantastic and dessert was awesome! The dino short rib so very good and the filet mignon was outstanding! Our server Ryan was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable. It was my birthday, and he gave us the chocolate flourless cake which was perfect. We will definitely be returning.
My girlfriend and I randomly stopped into Sparrow one night and ended up loving it. The vibe was on point, relaxed but still upscale and the food was top tier. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly, and the drinks were honestly some of the best we’ve had in the area.
What really made the experience stand out was our server, Michael. Super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely made the night better.
We liked it so much that we came back again on New Year’s Eve for their four-course dinner with live music, and it did not disappoint. Same great atmosphere, great food, and Michael remembered us and took care of us again, which made the night even better.
If you’re looking for a great date spot or just a place with good energy, great food, and high-quality service, this is it. Definitely a hidden gem in Kirkland. Highly recommend.

Not at all good experience, will never go again. The server was not able to deliver what is ordered.

This place is wonderful. Great vibe and delicious food. I've been here for dinner and brunch as well as a quick stop at the end of the night fo a quick drink and dessert. Definitely recommend for dates, friend meals to catch-up, and special events.

Slow service on Xmas but me and my bf enjoyed the desserts ( fried doughnuts & the coconut sorbet with the chocolate syrup and condensed milk ) and the steak came out super rare 😭 we wanted rib eye that’s medium well and medium rare, then for the seatings was ok. The bathroom was ok. The light dimming atmosphere was good 🩷 the fresh orange juice was ok. My bf got the root beer w sugar cane was ok too. The winter salad was fun to eat and interesting to try that’s fruits and arugula which it is little bitter. The wait took a while each course was frustrating but besides that I’ll give it a generous 4 star ☺️
Had an amazing steak sandwich. Would love to try their brunch!
