Solid place to come for fish and chips. They have specials too. It's very minimal, nothing complicated. Squeaky clean and has a great view of the water. It's not the friendliest place I've ever been but the service was good and we ate happily!

Ok... ok... So if you're ever in Kirkland Washington you definitely need to visit this little spot if you enjoy Fish "N" Chips. Their Cod is top notch, white and flakey, Perfectly fried. Their potato fries were perfect. I didn't ask for the potato fries to be cooked in any specific way I simply let the man do what he does best and he executed in fine fashion. Golden crispy on the outside and soft potato inside. They also make a Garlic aioli and Casian sauce in house and it's fire. You're also sitting directly across from Lake Washington which is awesome even though Washington isn't the sunniest place to be, it's still good vides.

Just stopped by with my daughter on our way home from our usual walk to Juanita beach park for a quick bite. We ordered cod fish and chips and it was so delicious; not too dry, not too greasy, not over cooked and the dough was thin and just perfect! The man who took our order was also very kind and attentive to all the customers .

Contrary to my initial understanding (and thanks to the business correcting me) this Spud shop is unlike the Alki Spud this one is not owned by Ivars and is still family owned and therefore different. The idea from what I gather is to stay stuck back in time and that works well. It is most likely misunderstood when you reed some of the comments about the decor. Overall the food is on the pricy side but the retro experience is right on the money. The staff is professional and efficient even though the turn over seems quite high.

Overpriced. They wanted to charge 3 dollars for a fountain drink.. and you have to pay extra for a tartar sauce lol. Not worth coming back here. Ivars tastes just as good and it is cheaper oh and tartar sauce is free there.

Fantastic fish and chips spot right off the water.Can people watch all day here and see the most random encounters. Watch out for crazy drivers.The fish and chips is great but a bit over priced now for what you are getting. I understand businesses need to business but man it is getting out of hand when fish and chips starts to be a 30 outing.
The shake is basically just sweet milk. If you ar expecting a thicker consistency like ice cream, this isn't it.

Childhood memories and excellence that goes on decade after decade after decade. This buds located on Juanita Beach as always produced. Not just incredible food, but amazing memories and moments of childhood gathering and then taking the next generation there. This is when we stop grab food to take across the street to the beach. We do the same thing at alki. Spuds really is magical, not just for the great food, but for the great memories that seem to be so entwined in it. On a secondary note, I grab this food yesterday and I'm having the leftovers for lunch at work today. Love me some spuds
