Food quality has really gotten worse over the last year. Rolls are bland and portions seem smaller. Servers are great. But it seems like kitchen/ sushi chefs are really are not up to speed. Going to be looking for a new place to get my weekly sushi fix.
we come here every time we’re visiting the area and their sushi is rlyyy good i rly recommend the snow crab california roll and the fried tofu roll
LOVE coming here with my partner for a casual and relaxed lunch, the atmosphere is very friendly and the servers are great. we came in on a weekday for an early lunch and got two Kiwami Bentos and it was unlike any other bento i've gotten. i dont have photos, but it was a beautiful tray of dishes, all perfectly portioned. miso soup, salad, rice, tempura veg and shrimp, and a delicious teriyaki salmon, and a small selection of nigiri with some california rolls. we also got the kiwami crunch on the side. the portions had us conpletely full, and we cleared every dish we had. lovely hole in the wall location if you want the experience of going to a small sushi restaurant! they removed the booths and the space is a lot more light because of it.
we've also been here at happy hour, and its 2000% worth it, great selection of the menu avaliable and at an awesome price.
Good place to eat, would recommend
This is our family favorite sushi in DT Kirkland! Authentic & contemporary; whatever you prefer! Also has great staff! They recently got a facelift inside which adds to the atmosphere.
Delicious, fresh, and high-quality sushi. I'll always come back. Thankful to have found this place.
I’ve visited KIWAMI several times over the years and the food and service have always been consistently good. It’s a small place though and can get quite busy, so be prepared to have to wait for a table during peak hours. Worth the wait though!!
I've eaten here around once a week for the last two years... Will miss this place dearly if ever I move. Delicious food, great vibes, wonderful staff.
Rolls were fire and prices were super fair. Butter miso was next level, mushroom n salmon w rich flavors yummm. While the crab is imitation, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience.
Great! Bentos. Tons of sauce.

The building is small and old, but the restaurant has the Best veggie sushi in Washington state! Love the Buddha rolls!!

The worst sushi I have had! Spent 70 bucks for takeout and tossed it in the garbage after trying 1 of each roll, very disappointing to toss 70 dollars in the garbage

We had chirashi bowl and nigiri dinner set. We were happy with the quality of the fish and the speed of the service. However, the plate that the nigiris were on looked rather old and scuffed up. We thought that they should consider upgrading their plates for better presentation, especially given the price point ($32).

Best sushi place in the area for my money. The chicken katsu is to die for, and I've never been disappointed by their specialty rolls. Their genmaicha is the perfect accompaniment to a Japanese lunch or dinner.
