Very good food, and great service

The sushi rolls are fantastic, the tap list is diverse and well-selected, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a very calm atmosphere, and they have board games if you’d like to grab a drink and hang out for a bit. Definitely will be back! Would highly recommend the Ballard roll and their miso soup is a step above the rest.

My favorite place on the Eastside. Outstanding food, warm atmosphere and efficient staff that makes you feel welcome.

Love the ambience and service. Feels very much like home. I wish there were more vegetarian/vegan options. It would be nice to have even 1 veggie chef special, everything has fish. The employees are incredibly kind.

Thirsty Hop was a fun dinner. I appreciated the interesting mix of craft beer and sushi. The space inside was a combination of sushi restaurant and bar - super cool. Food overall was nice, and service was great.

Our friends suggested meeting up at The Thirsty Hop, and though a hop shop with sushi seemed like a strange mix, it turned out to be a great combination! As you walk in, the cozy vibe is immediately inviting, especially on a cold, rainy day with an inviting fireplace to sit next to. They even have games to play! The beer selection was decent with plenty of choices, and the sushi was surprisingly delicious! We ordered quite a bit, with the Hawaiian tuna being a standout favorite—we liked it so much, we ordered it twice. We also tried a variety of other dishes, including wings, gyoza, and rolls, and everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. As we left, the place was getting busy. We wish them the best of luck and hope they continue to stay busy!

Small bland portions, uncomfortable seating, slow service. The dining area is located in the main room with a distinct sports bar atmosphere. Weird place to eat sushi. Avoid.

For this place, we should have another category of hidden solitaires just not gems. With its amazing food, drinks and of course the service this place is going to be a must go for me
