This used to be a excellent beer bar serving amazing beer with mediocre food. Then it changed owners and they started serving solid sushi and still serving amazing beer. They changed chefs earlier this year and they are one of the best sushi restaurants who happens to serve amazing beer. They do sell out of specialty dishes (e g., Ankimo: monkfish liver pate) which is how it should be for delicasies.

The sushi rolls are fantastic, the tap list is diverse and well-selected, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a very calm atmosphere, and they have board games if you’d like to grab a drink and hang out for a bit. Definitely will be back! Would highly recommend the Ballard roll and their miso soup is a step above the rest.
