10 years ago when we lived in Kirkland this was our favorite coffee shop. We are visiting the area and were so excited to get to come here again but I am disappointed as it does not have the same quality or flavor that I remember. We used to always get a cardamom vanilla latte which had amazing cardamom flavor and now I see the menu has changed to “Vanilla latte with cardamom” and there is no cardamom flavor. The pastry I ordered was floppy and overheated....
Minor grievance but enough to warrant a 3/5 rating, the baristas almost never followed my instructions of adding raw sugar to my coffee and in at least 2 occasions I had to leave with an unsweetened coffee (because I trusted them). Nothing too crazy, I just hope they paid more attention despite me being explicit with the instructions.
