The Lacey store is pretty small, only a few places to sit but still worth order for pick up, the Tumwater store is much larger with a lot of tables and can fit larger groups.“

“Just had this for the first time, we got take out, BEST BBQ PLACE I HAVE EVER HAD. It was so good, I’m drooling just writing this. They were amazing at pick up and my allergy kiddo (eggs and peanuts) was able to safely eat and experience this meal with us!! It’s amazing, they even went out of their way and checked the label for eggs to make sure for me. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing place!!“

“I’ve NEVER been that impressed even at 5 star restaurants! Chrissie and her crew were radiant! The food (1/2 chicken katsu 1/2 garlic chicken) was sumptuous and exquisite. It was a dreary Friday 13th with rain when I stopped by to eat but I left feeling like I was just in Hawaii! I will come again for a visit even from as far as Seattle!!“

“The loaded baked potato was amazing with the pulled pork. Every bite melts in your mouth and it's like all your best memories of home cooked meals rolled into one. The baked beans taste like heaven and your first kiss. The cornbread has that perfect, crumbly texture and the side of butter whipped up with vanilla sends it soaring. My only complaint is that there isn't more butter. And my stomach isn't bigger. This place is so good. I was feeling homesick for good food and this place soothed my troubled heart.“

He has rotating specials everyday (you can see on his Facebook or text his number to ask) plus menu items like gumbo, catfish and chicken fingers. I personally love his special of fried crawfish also his ribs are amazing! Be sure to ask for the jumbo spicy if that’s your thing. His food truck is in the parking lot right past the car wash on main post“
