It's fun, cozy, and full of good energy—the kind of place that makes you want to stay a while. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel like we were right at home. Every single dish we tried was bursting with flavor—absolutely exquisite. And the drinks? So unique and delicious, you’ll want to try them all. From start to finish, the service was fantastic. This was hands down our favorite place on the trip. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and don’t miss this spot. Sooo good“

I destroyed everything on the beautiful plate and could’ve sat there and ate it again. Her father, who prepares everything fresh daily, deserves high praise. “I highly recommend My 4 Sons. As someone who comes into the area frequently and tries the different BBQ places, this place is superior in many ways. I ordered the rack of ribs and couldn’t finish it last night. The owner recommended to try the brisket on the way out the door and it was even better than the ribs. Any place that takes the time to make their own rubs and BBQ sauce in house will always win me over. If you don’t check this place out you will regret it for sure.“

“Terry is great and all the smoked meats were Heavenly. The smoked Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese is so freaking good. I barely talked the whole time I ate because I kept wanting to fill my mouth with food. The wings fell right off the bone.“

“L&L is consistently good across all the sites I've visited over the years. The chicken katsu is my favorite dish there, and I rarely deviate from it, but the short ribs are also excellent, and often what my friends get when we visit together. It's a national tragedy we lost the Lynnwood store some years ago, because the other locations are considerably south of Lynnwood. If you like chicken katsu, definitely give it a try, and do yourself a favor and get a Spam musubi with it.“

“Steel Creek is the best country bar in the Seattle area! Great vibe, music, and energy. But the highlight every time I go is the bartender Cass! She’s incredible! Not only is she super friendly and fast, but she literally knows my drink before I even get my card out! That kind of service and attention makes the whole experience even better. “This is by far the best BBQ in Western WA. Everything is good. Portion sizes are great and prices are reasonable. We drive an hour just to get great BBQ. We have met people who drove 3 hours to just eat the excellent BBQ. They also have vegetarian options.“

“I’ve been on the hunt for good BBQ in Washington for a LONG time… My search was finally successful today when I discovered BBQ Pete’s in Lakewood Towncenter.

The trifecta of scrumptulessence was in full effect; 1. Cleanliness and attention to detail, 2. Amazing customer service, & 3. (Most importantly) High quality food. From the moment you walk in, your nostrils are greeted with the rich smells of BBQ, shortly after you’re greeted by pleasant team members that are actually happy to help you. The menu has the right amount of choices and the simplicity a place focused on BBQ should. The atmosphere is clean, spacious, and feels inviting.

After you order, you walk to your left and find an amazing assortment of accoutrements that continue to bolster the authentic BBQ experience. There is unlimited BBQ sauce (chose the spicy option for optimal flavor), fresh pickles & onions, and to my amazement real sweet tea as a beverage option (a true unicorn in WA State).

The brisket made me feel like I was in Texas, the BBQ beans reminded me of Grandma, and the Mac & Cheese pushed me over to edge to fully fledged food coma status. God bless BBQ Pete’s, may you ever bring joy to taste buds as you have mine.

“The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We came in for an early dinner but by the time we left the place was packed! Ppl clearly love this hidden gem!“

“We arrived at The Grill with a large group of 11 adults and 4 children. They had us seated and the grills started, with our first meat choices within 5 minutes. The food was delicous, fresh cuts of savory meats served with tasty side dishes. Even better than the food was the service! We were treated like family, laughing, joking and hugging when we left. “First time going, had a great experience. So much food, all you can eat for just $40. The Garlic Chicken and Spicy marinated Pork were our top two favorites. But everything we got was great. Got also the Beef brisket (which they give you a lot), the Spicy marinated Shrimp, and the Spicy marinated Chicken. For two people who are hungry, only 4-5 meat dishes needed. They do not let you take any leftovers home unfortunately. Even if you cook it. Also got their fried rice, the Kimchi Soup (really good), and the Cold Noodle dish (not that great, or just not our favorite thing compared to everything else and was unnecessary). It was my husband's first time having Korean BBQ, so was fun and he really enjoyed getting to cook his own meat and he loved everything and how much we got.“

“love the mala hot! if you like spicy chicken this is one of the greatest hidden gems of Federal Way. a bit pricey at regular price, but they are always running specials. Definitely my go-to place for spicy chicken anywhere between Seattle and Tacoma.“
