Thọ Tường BBQ Reviews
How did I wait 6 years since moving to Tacoma to try this gem? Roast duck noodle soup. A drumstick, some thigh and some breast in a perfectly seasoned savory broth and egg noodle with just the right bite. The chives and bock choy are a perfect crunch. It’s hard to eat while smiling this big Don’t plan to come here, do it, do it now. Beats anything I ever had in seattle. Or LA/San Fran for that matter.
I’ll make this easy for you: go. And eat the roasted pork and BBQ pork, then thank me later. Lin was welcoming, kind, and helpful recommending the perfect dish for my first visit. I destroyed everything on the beautiful plate and could’ve sat there and ate it again. Her father, who prepares everything fresh daily, deserves high praise. Pro tip: go early before they sell out. 10/10 would recommend.
friendly definitely a hole in the wall hidden gem

Based on the reviews, Thọ Tường BBQ is some of the best Vietnamese BBQ in Washington. The food is so good that people make excuses to drive from Seattle to eat there. The wait to be seated can sometimes be a little long, but always worth it. The menu has many options, and you really cannot go wrong with your choice because all is delicious. Specific meals mentioned include the best BBQ pork, roast duck/pork, dry noodles with roast pork and duck, combination noodle soup, combination rice, and the BBQ Pork lunch box. The roasted duck tastes exactly like childhood memories, and the broth in the combination noodle soup is rich with all meat flavor. The mi dac biet is also very good. For dessert, the pandan jelly fruit dessert and fresh Vietnamese fruit dessert drinks are delicious, and they even ask if you want fresh durian added. The place can get busy, but they are really fast at serving food. The area is not too good parking wise, and having cash is best as the card reader sometimes goes down.
