Best Mac salad I've had in a long time, and the shrimp were absolutely delicious. Is this a fast food chain? Yes, but it's a far cry from the usual suspects. You can expect tasty food served quickly, and it'll remind you of homemade, NOT frozen stuff thrown in a fryer.It was an easy 10 walk from baggage claim, and the prices were FAR better than the airport. Ceviche and roasted chicken are highlights of the menu. They also make their own canchitas (cracked corn). The dining room is large and airy, in a converted car showroom. There is usually a Peruvian version of MTV on in the background. This is outside seating only, but they do also have a covered area with picnic tables and a few ceiling heaters.This time around I tried their corned beef sandwich they were offering for St. Pattie’s. I wish they had this all year long it was so delicious! “Whenever I have my BBQ cravings from time to time, Lil Red's is the only place that can satisfy me. I genuinely believe this is the best spot in Seattle that does BBQ. The setup is very small with limited parking, so your best bet is to call in your order and pick it up when it's ready. I believe you can also order online through Uber eats as well. I ended up ordering in person and having a beer while I waited. The guy in the front that takes orders is also very helpful. What we ordered during the last visit was the brisket, burnt ends, Mac & cheese, and beans. Everything was so tasty, my only complaint is that I don't live closer!“
“This small out-of-the-way Georgetown bar has literally the best barbecue in Seattle. We've actually got a pretty up-and-coming barbecue scene, and Raney's is leading the way. Their brisket sandwich is bar-none the best I've had, and their Thursday/Friday ribs special is excellent as well.If you find yourself here, or happen to live along the 24/33/124 bus route, definitely give them a try.“

“I recently got to experience this INCREDIBLE BBQ and my life has been changed. The brisket is so tender and so full of flavor. It just melts in your mouth. Their bbq sauce was out of this world and their pickles compliment everything just perfectly. I also really appreciate the little touches like the warm bun. “My daughter took me to here on 3/20/20. We were wanting some Korean food and her friend had suggested to her that we try this place.Boy! It did not disappoint. My favorite is the Kalbi short ribs with all the beautiful side dishes. My daughter opted for the Kimchi hot pot or soup. The food was delicious and tasty! ?Service was awesome. ? “I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“
“I drive by Jacks BBQ in Algona everyday, it always smells so good. I don't have time to actually eat in but, I did door dash it today to work for an early dinner. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with greens and it was amazing. I also tried the hushpuppies they where also outstanding. I'm sorry I waited so long to eat there. “L&L is such a nostalgic and comforting place for me to grab food at. It is consistently good no matter what location I go to. The chokehold the mac salad has on me is insane. Not only is it good food for a reasonably price, but they also give you pretty big portions. I eat a lot and sometimes I can't finish an order of food in one sitting.“
“I was in search for a catering service for a loved one's funeral repass/reception and came across Ola Mae's Southern BBQ via Google search. The catering menu items they had to offer was exactly what myself and family was looking for. I sent a request form the day I found them and received an email a few hours later. Not only that I was able to speak with Mr. Reeves on the phone to get my order placed for 80 people attending. I also want to say the funeral was 5 days away. Mr. Reeves and his staff did an amazing job from start to finish. When it was time for the repass his staff made sure everything was taken care of from the real plates, set up of food and beverages, clean up, taking dirty plates, checking in on everyone regarding if we needed assistance with anything AND even brought to go boxes so people can take food home (a huge help for sure!).If you are looking for a southern cuisine catering services I suggest Ola Mae's hands down. The food was amazing and that is including my opinion, the guests' opinions, and my grandmother's true opinion who is originally from the South. “Sad I didn't know about this place sooner. I grew up in San Francisco, love dim sum, and crave it all the time. There are decent spots in the Seattle ID, but this is my new go-to for to-go. Favorites:- Chicken feet were fresh out the steamer -- melted in my mouth and so tasty.- Pork spare ribs were juicy and tender, and the rice rolls were silky smooth. - Siu yuk (roasted pork) had crunchy skin.- Bok tong go (sweet rice sponge cake) was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. They make thinner pieces, which I much prefer. A full box for $5.Also good: - Ha gao (shrimp dumplings) were huge with lots of shrimp filling.- Jin duy (fried sesame balls with red bean filling) was less greasy and very crunchy.Service was quick and friendly. They were busy with walk-ins early Saturday but cranking out new steamer baskets to keep up with the demand. Space is bright and clean. Prices are very reasonable. Love it!!!“

“I ended up at this restaurant kind of by accident as all my other choices were closed the day I was going for lunch. But curiosity led me here and I have to say the food is really really good. Also, the nice lady who is the hostess and server reminds me of my abuelita from long ago, so she added an extra special touch too my personal experience there. The atmosphere is fun and colorful, with plenty of seating. Service was fast. The food was tasty. And it was pretty affordable considering how expensive lunches can be these days. “A gem of a Chinese restaurant in Federal Way. We stopped here right after a soccer game and were lucky to get in before they closed. Service was very friendly and the place is very clean. The food is hot and tasty. We ordered some staples like House Special Chow Mein, Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, and Garlic Chinese Broccoli. What stood out though was the barbecue. May May's does a great job with their barbecue. It's meaty (not too boney) and tastes really good.Give this place a try if you're ever in the area.“
