Long story short. I was in the army stationed in Germany during the cold war in the 80's. All soldiers received meal cards to eat the slop in the mess hall for free. A lot of us would get in a taxi and go down to the local village to this gyro stand for lunch. There were hundreds of soldiers in line salivating to get that delicious gyro and get back to base for formation. These gyros were truly addictive. This was such a pleasant surprise. Don't let the generic name fool ya, they really are the boss when it comes to gyros and schwarma. The hummus was SO smooth and delicious. The pita was fluffy. The beef and lamb schwarma was perfectly seasoned and tender. And the backlava was perfectly portioned and delicious. The staff was super friendly.
I have eaten at a lot of gyro places and Gyro Boss has the best Greek fries 100%. The Arabic Schwarma wrap/sandwich was super delicious!!! Such friendly staff too. Highly recommend!!
