We ended up going up to the Lake Forest Park cafe for Mother's Day, but didn't have reservations for it. So we were going to go back to the car and try and find another place but when we passed by the borough I suggested let's go in and see what they have on menu. It was fortunately one of the best decisions that we did because their food was great, their coffee was great - everything about the location was great and we didn't have a bad mother's Day brunch!

I love The Burrow. When I lived nearby, I'd go regularly to hang out and have some coffee or tea. The staff was always super friendly. I love the curated art and decor and generally a calming atmosphere. I haven't been for a few months, but I remember their options being a tad limited for pasteries but they do have a menu so I could usually find something. It's probably the most inviting coffee shop I've been to and one I actually wanted to be in for more...

Such a cool vibe. Staff are kind and helpful. Love the art, and the music they play is absolute perfection. Coffee tastes so good and they have fun unique flavors. Good place to study or just hang.
