Our first visit to The Pines was exactly what we needed for a laid-back date night. The atmosphere is dark and inviting, easy to settle into and just enjoy the moment.

We were seated quickly, greeted with water, and served an unexpected touch: popcorn. Different, but it worked. It had a subtle sweet peppercorn flavor that made it surprisingly good and a nice change from the usual starters.

Stopped in for dinner place was busy which is always a good sign. Friendly staff. Had the roasted chicken with Brussels had them added a side of mashed .. perfect! The wife had smoked chicken and pasta it was super.
The only downside is I didn't see the fried chicken the peole at the next table had until it was too late. I guess there will be a next time haha
