This was truly a great find, definitely a diamond in the rough. I didn’t expect such a welcoming restaurant. It looked busy when we walked in, but it went fast. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time in the restaurant. They told us how things worked and focused on the customer. They were very kind, not normally seen in restaurants these days. Very good hospitality. Ambiance was nice.

During a recent excursion to Gig Harbor, my wife and I found ourselves in Tacoma, where we decided to explore the culinary offerings of Lakewood. Our quest for a satisfying meal led us to a charming, family-owned Thai establishment. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who were more than willing to guide us through the menu with expertise and enthusiasm.

This is a small spot with a small menu, but everything we got was good. Portions are large and beautifully presented. Stir-fried veggies included huge straw mushrooms, which were a treat. Tofu was tasty. We also enjoyed mango sticky rice for dessert. Updated from previous review on 2026-06-27
