Went there with my adult children. LOL. We were celebrating my youngest son's birthday. He was 7 when we left Germany, turning 44 this Friday. After his first bite, he said it was like being back in Germany. My daughter loved the red cabbage and the spaetzle. My son in law had the meatloaf, pretty much drank it. I had the German plate. Too busy enjoying the food to take a pic. 😁 We will return!
A great restaurant experience for those that enjoy German or Polish food. Our favorites are the ham shank with red cabbage and spatzel covered with mushroom (jagar) gravy. Our 2nd favorite is the Snitzel platter (3 different sauces).
We typically split the above so we can also have an amazing dessert like Black Forest Cake or a Creamhorn.

I've never had a bad meal here and tonight was no exception. I tried the meatloaf for the first time and it paired well with my Dunkel Octoberfest.
My server was awesome as always, friendly and welcoming. When I'm in the Lakewood area for work, I make sure there is time for dinner here!
