Jack's BBQ - Lakewood

Probably the best BBQ we've had, other than my own at home. We had the jalapeño queso dip, brisket sandwich with corn pudding, and the The Burger (wagyu) with pulled pork added. No reason to go into an explanation... just go there, get the food and eat it. You'll like it!!! Service was good, attentive and friendly.

Ok my first time in. 1 they have a busy to go business. 2The place was clean. The con: I could not smell smoke when I got out of my car. I have already looked at the menu before going there,so I kinda knew what I wanted. Tea was ok, mac n cheese was kinda a queso style??, brisket was sub par taste wise, I like fatty side that was good, slaw did not win me over, I don't like celery seed,it's just me. Last I'm from the south. Thanks

I had the sliced brisket sandwich with coleslaw and fries. It was very good .the brisket was tender and juicy. Their fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy. The service was very efficient and friendly. The dining area did get a bit noisy as more people came in. But was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this place.

The bar is set. I wanted to give the food 5 stars, but my eyes didn't roll back when I ate the coleslaw. The ribs were very good, the brisket were near perfect and I say that because 1 piece was fatty and moist 🤤 the other was a bit dry, the jalapeno cheese sausage - OMG, the spicy sausage was spicy and good, the corn bread was amazing, the corn bread pudding was delicious, and the pecan pie was a diabetics nightmare and I loved it! Loved the waitress

I've been to Jack's in Seattle many times and was happy to learn of their newer locations like this one in Lakewood. The brisket, pork ribs, and sausages, all of the sides: juicy and full of flavor. The brisket didn't need anything added to it at all: Perfection. I had BBQ in Fort Worth TX 2 months ago – Jack's holds up to that, easily!

I ordered catering from this BBQ spot for my birthday celebration and overall had a great experience. Ordering online was super easy and straightforward, and pickup was smooth with no issues at all. Everything was ready and well-packaged when I arrived.

Food-wise, there were some real standouts. The brisket leaned a bit on the drier side for my taste, but the ribs more than made up for it. They were tender, flavorful, and clearly smoked with care. The chicken was another win. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and a crowd favorite.

The sides were fantastic, especially the Texas caviar, which was honestly to die for. It was fresh, bright, and addictive. Do not skip the spicy BBQ sauce! It is absolutely bomb and a must-have that tied everything together perfectly.

Overall, this was a solid choice for a celebration with great flavors, easy logistics, and several dishes that really stood out. I would definitely order again, especially for the ribs, chicken, and that spicy sauce.
