We love Kyoto! The sushi is always amazing, the tuna is so fresh. Service is always fast and beautiful. It feels like you are in a Tokyo or Kyoto restaurant in South Tacoma.

really liked it here i felt like the food was pretty good i liked how warm the lights are where i sat and it created this nice moody lighting but hannah was really nice and fun to talk with. her personality really brightened the whole experience. i liked the roll that was wrapped in cucumber with raw salmon and crab meat. that one was one of my favorites although i don’t usually like rolls but this place does it amazingly

Decided to eat at Kyoto Japanese Restaurant for a family lunch event. The food was good, but the service from our waitress Hana made our entire evening. She is great with the kids and adults, and her bright, lively attitude had the food tasting even better. If you plan on coming to Kyoto Japanese Restaurant, make sure you ask for Hana, and definitely try the Wagyu Carpaccio!
